Location : Irving TX Duration : 5 months Bill Rate : $48/hr *NEED LOCALS ONLY* Looking for a 5 year Java Developer that has done both design and development. .Will work on small team doing application redesign, rewrite and add new features for an existing application that is in ASP.Net This position is primarily middle tier and Front end. Official job description is below: Technical Skills 4 - 6 years of experience in the following areas Strong OO design and programming experience using Java 1.5 or higher Experience in Spring 2.0 or higher is required. Experience in application architecture using MVC framework Database access using JDBC Front end programming using jsp, jsf, Spring tag libraries, HTML,XHTML,CSS Weblogic web server preferred (v.10 or higher preferred but will consider WebSphere or other web server as long has have experience deploying code, debugging and monitoring logs . Experience doing on-line transaction SQL queries as well as stored procedures and functions with any relational database. RDB that is preferred is DB2 V. 9.5 or higher is preferred Experience in creating and deploying application files using Ant, JNDI and JMS experience XML file reading and generation using Java A good amount of the Middle-tier work will be doing Report/Letter generation using Java in different formats such as PDF, Excel. Would HIGHLY prefer that someone has done something similar in the past. Rules will be written using straightforward DSL and Decision Table coding. The Java domain objects are already created but will need slight modifications. Domain objects will be populated from the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Responsibilities include: a) modify the domain objects to match the inputs needed, and to create/modify the rules (DSL/Decision Tables) to match the data and the decision criteria. b) Fine-tune the size of the fact list to avoid resource depletion.
