*QA Specialist* * * *Location –* Milwaukee, WI * * *Duration* – 6 to 9+ Months *Rate/hr* – - *Interview* - Phone Hire + In Person * * This candidate must have experience with *Microstrategy Teradata, Unix and Java.* *Job Description: *This project is the second of multiple iterations in building the new enterprise data warehouse on *Teradata with Microstrategy*. Release 2 will focus on converting the data that is in the existing EDW & MW onto *Teradata*. The *Microstrategy* toolset will be utilized to recreate the corporate standard business reports. A business intelligence strategy for the Microstrategy environment will be implemented for corporate users of the new enterprise data warehouse. * * *Preferred Qualifications:* · 8 years minimum experience in systematic software testing. · Expert with IEEE and/or ISO testing standards. · Must have Medium Project Management experience. · Must have experience with Managing Test/Dev data and hardware environments. · Must have experience with Defect, risk, and statistical analysis. · Oral & written communication with technical and non-technical staff · Must be proficient with Capture/Playback automation tool and methodologies. · Must be proficient with performance tuning & monitoring of enterprise applications. · Must have advanced testing and troubleshooting applications running on MVS, UNIX, and WINDOWS. · Demonstrated proficiency in the quality and quantity of test case procedures, test scripts, identified defects, defect reports. · Deep experience in all aspects of testing from unit, integration, system, functional, regression to acceptance is required. · Preferred programming languages: C++, Java, VBA · Preferred Tool experience QTP, SilkPerformer, TestRunner, Introscope, Quality Center · Deep knowledge of Retail / IS industry, SDLC, STLC best practices in SW Testing and QA and Risk Based Testing. · Ability to assess perceived quality, business impact and associated functional and technical risk. · Capable of coordinating and working with other areas of Kohl’s to ensure proper scheduling and coordination of test deliverables and quality controls throughout the SDLC.
