*Candidate will be required to create load runner script using HP Load Runner and run via controller during the interview.* *Performance Tester* *Washington DC* *12 months* *Face To Face required* *Short Description: *The QA consultant must have at least 6 years of experience in software testing methodology and software development life cycle specific to Load and Performance testing using HP Load Runner. *Complete Description: *The Performance Tester has strong of knowledge in designing and creating load test scripts on the designated workflows for Web applications. The tester must quickly identify the load test scenario based on the workflows for the application under load test. Has strong of knowledge in quality assurance, release management, functional and performance/load testing. The Performance tester will be able to develop load test scripts, perform load testing, and analyze the load test results to provide feedback to the customer/client. Have strong and deep knowledge in software testing methodology and the system development life cycle. Participation in design specification reviews and technical documentation reviews is essential to perform these duties. Also, the applicant will create testing and performance summary reports clearly communicating to management all testing results. Finally, the tester will document the load test results outcome and track the changes made during load testing to give a better understanding of the business requirements and the needs of the customer. The following essential duties and responsibilities for this position include: • Must have experience with H P Load Runner 12.01 to create load test scripts, scenarios and analyze the results. • Must have solid understanding of Performance/Load Testing, Capacity and Stress Testing. • Must have excellent knowledge in HP Load Runner 12.01 using various APls i.e. Web HTTP/HMTL, Web 2.0. • Excellent C Programming skills • Must have good understanding on Oracle 11 G or 12c Database· Contribute to the entire software development life cycle (SDLC - Agile and Waterfall preferred) from initial business requirements to deployment & production support· Experience in automated functional testing • Experience with HP Quality Center/ALM. • Answer client support questions via phone and email • Lead all technical testing efforts including integration testing & performance testing • Ensure OoS (quality of service) levels of software products through performance test benchmarking· Work with multiple database interfaces and be familiar with standard web architectures • Train and mentor other analysts in testing methodology and the software development lifecycle • Federal or State/Local Government experience desired • Assist in implementation of OA standards and continual improvement activities· Excellent Communication and Analytical skills • Excellent MS Office skills *Behavior Characteristics: *Good interpersonal skills.
