Job Description: Design and develop Portals, Dashboards, and Reports utilizing data from multiple sources including Hadoop (Hive and Impala) and various relational databases. These objects will replace existing reporting that is accomplished using Microsoft Excel and other tools. The Developer should have experience with the following tools / technologies: • WebFOCUS Design Development Experience • Development with Application Studio & Info Assist • Business Intelligence Portal Design & Development • Metadata Management with Data Management Console • Data Adapter Configuration – specifically Impala, Hive, and Hadoop Job Requirements Additional information from the hiring area: The project for which we need a resource is named Technology Integrated Analytics. We will be extracting data from approximately 9 existing source systems. These source systems include HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Rally (Agile tool), Service Now, and others. Knowledge of the source systems is not required. The extracted data will be stored in an Oracle Big Data Appliance (BDA) / Hadoop. Other potential data sources include Oracle Relational Databases, Microsoft SQL Server, and Flat Files. Reports and dashboards will be created from these sources using webFOCUS and other application packages from the Information Builders suite. The layout of these reports and dashboards already exists, but if the you can provide suggestions on improving them, that would be helpful.
