Job Roles / Responsibilities:

· As an implementation coordinator in the Charles River Center of
Excellence (CoE), manage and implement multiple large around the Charles
River Investment Management System (CRIMS), while coordinating work with
various internal and external teams.  Additionally, support the general
infrastructure and contribute to the general offering that the Charles River
CoE can provide to its clients.

· Manage/coordinate and implement new instances as well as upgrades
to existing instances of the Charles River Investment Management System for
various internal Asset Management Companies.

· Coordinate the efforts of various departments/groups to complete
tasks.
· Work directly with the business users to gather, negotiate, and
document business requirements for implementations, upgrades, and
enhancements.
· Troubleshoot and problem solve to resolve bugs and issues reported
by the business users.
· Bridge the gap between the business and technology to effectively
design and customize a system that will meet or exceed the expectations of
the business users.
· Analyze current business and operational processes and contribute
towards process improvements and process re-engineering to further the goal
of the CoE.
· Create and document high level design, detailed design, and other
functional/technical specifications.
· Design and develop interfaces to and from the Charles River IMS to
accounting systems, post trade communications systems, etc.
· Design and develop other customizations to the system to support
the business workflows.
· Work with various technology teams including server support,
networking, access control, etc. to ensure all systems remain stable and
available.
· Manage changes to the environment

*Job Title: Senior PeopleSoft Oracle DBA Consultant*

*Location: Washington DC*



*Complete Description*:

  Database management covering creation and maintenance of data
dictionaries, data models, performance tuning. Coordinates database changes
and tests. The position will support development for: PeopleSoft, PASS
(Ariba), FileNet, SharePoint JCAPS/Egate Enterprise applications and HSMP.
The individual will also be building new database Infrastructure for
migrating a data center from one location to another. Configure all the
databases and support testing thereof. It will also provide administrative
and technical support for Data Conversion and Performance Management.
Additional responsibilities include the installation of Oracle software,
patches, trouble-shooting problems, Performance Tuning, Software
Configuration, Capacity Planning, Architecture and Migrations. This
individual will build the DC government’s Enterprise applications including
Application Server, Process Scheduler server, Web Server and oracle
databases. Candidate must have 10+ years of experience implementing and
supporting new Time and labor, eModules, data conversion and performance
management modules. Candidate must possess strong background in Oracle 10g
database administration specifically RAC, performance tuning and backup and
recovery using RMAN. Candidate must be able to support Ariba Procurement,
Egate/JCAPS Integration, Mercury Quality Center and Dimensions databases in
a high available environment. Prior knowledge of Government systems is
desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills and prior experience with
troubleshooting problems; documenting and reporting back after corrective
measures have been taken.

   - 5 Years of Experience with PeopleSoft 8.8 along with Peopletools 8.46
   - 1 Year of Peopletools upgrade experience to version 9.0 to higher
   - 2 Years of Experience implementing eRecruit/HR
   - 5 Years of PeopleSoft implementations with installation/configuration,
   on IBM pSeries
   - 5 Years of Capacity Planning for PeopleSoft HR/ Payroll system to
   support 50k users.
   - 8 Years of Supporting PeopleSoft application in a HA Architecture.
   - 5 Years of Experience with RMAN backup and recovery
   - 5 Years of Experience with Oracle Data Guard
