The consultant will assist the client’s SAS support team in SAS v9.2 upgrade
project, EMiner upgrade, and including migration of PC SAS users to
Enterprise Guide, and help in trouble shooting current SAS BI platform
issues whenever needed. Consultant should be knowledgeable with SAS usage as
relates to increased need for IT security, risk reduction plus financial
regulation/compliance. Consultant is required to work out of the clients
Mettawa, Illinois office with proposed contract term through end of year
2011.
*Qualifications:
*
5+ year experience administering a SAS BI Platform and Analytic Platform,
with strong installation, configuration, and support knowledge and practical
hands on experience for the mid-tier (Unix), Citrix, and Mainframe platforms
*Additional hands on experience required:*
Performance tuning, monitoring, security administration, ADAM
implementation, and backup procedure.
Experience in supporting large basis of users required.
5+ year experience on SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Enterprise Miner support
required.
Able to guide on EG v4.3 and Eminer v6.2 migration from lower their versions
(EG v4.1 and Eminer v5.3).
5+ year experience on UNIX (IBM AIX, SUN Solaris, Citrix Windows Servers and
PC environment required.
Expertise on MVS mainframe, Windows 7, Office 2010 an extra.
Expertise on SAS v9.2 Access tools and knowledge on relational database
required, especially with UDB and Oracle in UNIX platform.
Knowledge on other Databases and In-Database products a plus.
Good communication, documentation and presentation skills required.
Experience on other SAS BI tools, for example, SAS Microsoft Add-in, Text
Miner, Credit scoring, WebReportStudio, Information Map Studio are good
plus.
Experience on SAS/Secure, SAS/IntrNet, SAS/Share a good plus.
