Position Overview:
Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:
• QTP/UFT experience in automating web services
• Descriptive programming experience
• Develop and maintain QTP/UFT automation framework
• Testing of web services
• Suggest automation best practices
• SDLC process knowledge (Agile methodology)
• Good communication skills
• Perform Functional, System, Regression and database tests
• Create, execute and maintain automated test scripts to verify
web services
• Responsible for signoff into production
• Develop test plans, prepare test environment, test scenarios,
data and test scripts
• Secures QA environments
• Reviews business requirements for testability
• Responsible for delivering iterative test results/progress to
Project Manager
• Interact closely with other project QA
What would a normal day for this position look like??
Heads down coding, testing. Will be doing automation scripting work.
Development of framework for automated QTP testing, maintenance,
collaborating with teams to ensure end to end product delivery.
