*Job Title : Checkpoint Firewall Engineer *
*Duration: 36 months*
*Location :: Plano, TX or Tempe, AZ...preferably Plano *
*Pay: $50/hr on W2*
*Interview Process: 2 rounds of interviewing. (Phone)*
*Hours: Mon-Friday 8am-5pm, currently will be working every other weekend
(Team is upgrading 1 upgrade per weekend, trying to get to 2 upgrades per
weekend)…Alternates amongst team members*
*Environment: Checkpoint Shop (75% Checkpoint / 25% Juniper)*
*Resource Needed: *
*• Looking for a Checkpoint Engineer who can build and cutover firewalls
from old Nokia Boxes. *
*• Proficient with Checkpoint and Juniper Firewalls*
*• Past experience with Hardware refreshes*
*• Firewall / IDS Functionality *
*• Load Balancing would be a bonus*
*• Needs candidates who can look at an old box, understand the
configuration. Move that configuration to a new box and match. Swap out old
box once the work has been completed*
*• Going from Checkpoint Nokia Boxes to Checkpoint GAiA Operating System
(Pronounced Guy-uh)…Scheduled to be completed by 2018*
*• Would help If candidates were also proficient with Juniper Firewalls
(Netscreen, SRX)…will be converting / upgrading from Juniper to Checkpoint
at a later date…Scheduled to be completed by 2021*

*• Detail oriented*
*• Self-motivated*
*• Confident *
*• Looks for work to be done, doesn’t wait for it to be handed to them*
*• Great communication skills*
