*Role: Documentum Lead Architect/Developer*

*Location: Pleasanton, CA *

*Technical Knowledge / Skills*

·         Thorough understanding of the *EMC Documentum product suite.*

·         Extensive experience *architecting Documentum 6.7 systems*

·         Experience with *Documentum D2 4.x*

·         Expertise in *CS admin, xPlore admin,
Webtop/RPSA/DA/ECSF/ACS/ADTS/UCF admin*

·         Experience with *DFS integrations* to third party applications
including .NET and Java based systems

·         Experience with *xCP 2.0 *

·         Experience with *integrating EMC Captiva systems to Documentum*

·         Experience *managing projects spanning multiple organizational
units comprised of both consultants and staff*

·         Experience with *EMC xPressions*

·         Experience writing *adhoc Documentum DQL/API scripts*



*Tasks / Duties*

*·         Design and develop the architecture for all enterprise content
management components* (e.g. tool integration strategy; source system, data
movement and aggregation; information delivery; and data quality strategy)

·         Participation in proposal development and client presentations

*·         Translate client user requirements* into technical architecture
vision and implementation plan

·         Work with the Business and IT teams to complete the project
analysis, requirements gathering, scoping, and scheduling

·         Attend and contribute to project meetings

·         Provide project status updates to management

·         Meetings with developers to work out integration strategies

·         Ensure that all project documentation is produced in the standard
format, that it follows internal documentation processes and is reviewed
and approved prior to delivery.

*·         Hardware recommendations, sizing and configuration *

·         Oversight and/or coordination of system testing phase

·         Problem and issue resolution; Trouble shooting customer problems
including enhancements to existing functionality

*·         Monitor the health of the application and infrastructure
platforms*

·         Proactive recommendations of platform optimization

·         Mentoring and developing junior staff.



*Demonstrable Skills / Other Qualifications*

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills for *design,
creation and testing of programs*

·         Good leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less
experienced personnel

·         Communication skills to work effectively with team members,
support personnel, and clients

·         Prior experience in the insurance industry is a plus

·         Provide more in-depth analysis with a high-level view of goals
and end deliverables.

·         Plan and manage all aspects of the support function.

·         Strong knowledge in project management practices and ability to
document processes and procedures as needed.

·         Work collaboratively with other support team members and
independently on assigned tasks and deliverables with minimum supervision

·         Communicate effectively with users at all levels, from data entry
technicians up to senior management, verbally and in writing.

·         Self-motivated, working closely and actively communicating with
team members to accomplish time critical tasks and deliverables

·         Ask questions and share information gained with other support
team members, recording and documenting this knowledge

·         Elicit and gather user requirements and/or problem description
information, and record this information accurately

·         Listen carefully and act upon user requirements

·         Convey and explain complex problems and solutions in an
understandable language to both technical and non-technical persons

·         Present technical solutions to management and decision makers

·         Follow the lead of others on assigned projects as well as take
the lead when deemed appropriate

·         Think creatively and critically, analyzing complex problems,
weighing multiple solutions and carefully selecting solutions appropriate
to the business needs, project scope, and available resources
