Performance Tester Load and Performance Engineer
*Position Summary *
Provide performance testing services using HP Load Runner for an enterprise
application and infrastructure that includes distributed Internet/web based
technologies, and infrastructure components such as database and network
components.
*Job Duties and Responsibilities: *
Working with customer and project team develop Performance test planning
Use HP Load Runner to design, develop and execute performance test
conditions, scenarios, scripts, and performance test data through analysis
of product specifications and software requirements
Assist with performance tuning activities through the analysis of results
returned from performance test activities
Participate in project status meetings and communicate progress to project
lead(s) or directly to client stakeholders
Identify and log defects as well as participate in related defect
management activities
*Must have skills: *
Minimum 5 years developing and executing performance testing
solutions/deliverables for large enterprise wide customer facing internet
web applications
Minimum 3-5 years using HP Load Runner
Experience using scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, Perl, VBA, Groovy,
etc.)
Experience load testing applications developed utilizing SOA / web service
principles and technologies
Experience in tuning app servers, http servers, database servers
Experience with Unix/Linux
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Able to multitask effectively
Able to adapt quickly to changing client requirements
