Software Developer (Java and C#)*

*Duties and Responsibilities:
*Design, develop, test, implement and document enhancements to existing C#
.NET/Java web application
Identify performance opportunities in the existing architecture and
recommend improvements
Adhere to standards of application systems analysis, programming, and
procedures and participate in code review process
Adhere to policies and procedures for modifying information systems
Coordinate with technology partners including internal associates and
consultants
*Required experience/skill set:
*5-7 Years of application development experience dealing with large data
volumes (60 – 80 million records)
5 – 7 Experience with Oracle DBMS (query optimization and performance
tuning)
3 – 5 years of experience in Java design, coding, testing and debugging
techniques
3 – 5 years of experience in C# design, coding, testing and debugging
techniques
3 – 5 years of experience in ASP.NET design, coding, testing and debugging
techniques
Experience designing and implementing N-Tier applications using .NET
Experience creating and consuming web Services in .NET frameworks
Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts and design
principles
Expertise in Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 with integrated source control
solutions like VSS or Subversion
Experience using Netbeans with integrated source control solutions like VSS
or Subversion
Ability to apply Object-Oriented design principles to create extensible,
maintainable applications
Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt to change
*Preferred experience:
*Application architecture experience dealing with large data volumes
Previous experience in Korn Shell scripting
