•Total – 10+ yrs experience with 5+ years of Liferay experience.
•Significant experience in architecting and performance tuning (both
application level and database level) for LARGE scale Liferay applications
(100,000+ users minimum).
•Development background in JAVA
•Strong database background
•BS Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent

Job Title  : Liferay Architect (implementing Liferay Portal and
JSR 286 portlets)

 Location  : Cincinnati, OH & Detroit, MI

Duration  : 12 months+

 Interview   : Phone / Skype


The individual provides overall direction, life cycle management and
leadership for all Liferay components and JSR 286portlet development.
Working closely with the Enterprise/Solution Architect the individual
performs a lead role in the identification, analysis, evaluation and
recommendation of technologies required for implementing Liferay Portal
Solutions.

Required Skill Set:

· 4-6  years’ experience with architecting and implementing Liferay
Portal and JSR 286portlets

· Extensive exposure of Inter-Portlet Communication (IPC)
implementations

· Strong experience with Spring MVC and Liferay MVC


· Good working knowledge of Enterprise Portal Content, System, User
Administrations and Portal customizations.

· Very good understanding of integration with content management
tools.

· Extensive exposure on portal security configurations & SAML
integrations.

· Hands on experience on portlets and Liferay web services
implementation

· Excellent knowledge of Java & J2EE Technologies (Servlets, JSP,
EJBs) and Web technologies (HTML, CSS and JAVA SCRIPT).

· Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
