The target environment is Client/Server using DB2 on the mainframe, as well as web interfaces where appropriate. This experienced person will need to work with a variety of employees to analyze and design the necessary programs, translating business requirements into functioning Client/Server programs. Formulates and plan outlining steps required to develop program, using methodologies such as structured analysis and design or object-oriented development. Reads computer outputs to detect syntax or logic errors during program test, or uses diagnostic software to detect errors. Replaces, deletes, or modifies codes to correct errors. Analyzes, reviews and alters CA-Gen programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Assists users to solve operating problems.' 'This person must have 8 or more years of previous experience using Advantage Gen in an environment similar to client’s.
