As the technical leader of the ATG team, you will design, build, modify,
and debug ATG applications. In
addition to development responsibilities, you will be expected to provide
technical and architectural
guidance as well as work closely with 3rd party integrators in meeting the
technical needs of the
business. You will be a key contributor in cross functional teams that will
include developers, business
champions, end users, and contractors. Effective communication skills are
essential to succeed in an
environment where the team members and stakeholders are spread across the
global business
operations.
*Responsibilities:*
• Design and develop applications that provide efficient solutions to
business requirements
• Performs new module implementations, upgrades, and application
integrations, etc.
• Develop extensions using ATG recommended framework or tool set
• Write and execute complex functions/stored procedures, code optimization,
and performance
tuning
• Work with the business functional areas to research and identify the best
technical solution to
support the most efficient business processes
• Accept ownership of system issues through triage and resolution
• Develop technical design documents for conversions, extensions,
interfaces, and reports
• Play the lead role in architecture design, development planning, and code
reviews
• Track software development progress within the group
• Optimize applications to ensure maximum availability, performance, and
security
• Provide training and guidance to other developers within the ATG team
• Maintain and support the various development environments
• Provide toolset recommendations and help build the technology roadmap
• Coordinate efforts of onsite and offsite contract developers
*Experience:*
• 6 + years of ATG development experience, including at least 2 unrelated
implementations
• Strong understanding of JSP, AJAX, XML, XSLT, CSS, and other UI
technologies
• Experience with Oracle DB and SQL
• ATG CSC and BCC experience preferred
• Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design
• Experience with Application Servers (JBoss preferred)
• Strong experience with SOAP and Web Services
• High level understanding of Unix environment such as HP UX or Solaris
• Basic knowledge of E‐Commerce, Financial, Manufacturing and Supply Chain
concepts
• Experience working within established SDLC

• Excellent analytical and design skills; ability to problem solve
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to educate technical and non‐technical teams on issues, tasks,
and impacts.
• International and multi‐language customizations preferred
• Commitment to excel in customer service
*Education:*
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical field.
