*General Description:*
Developer responsible for development of new applications, enhancements &
add-ons to existing applications. Intermediate Level Developer will help
train the Jr. Developers, manage large/in-depth projects, work on difficult
issues/tickets.
Description of Current Project:
Time & Projects is a web-based project estimation & reporting application.
It is used to estimate, contract, report, and manage a large number of
research and design contracts each year. The current project is adding and
upgrading advanced tools to an existing suite of web-based project
estimation and budgeting tools.
· Detailed Itemization
· Standard estimation distributions
· Admin project management tools
· Restructuring to a class-based MVC framework
*Work Experience Requirement: *
*General:*
> Good time management skills
> Good communication skills which will facilitate working with people at
remote locations
> Ability to work on multiple tasks throughout the day
> Flexibility to adjust to changing needs
> Ability to work together with and lead a small team
> Ability to understand and decipher customer needs
> Should be self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills
> Good verbal and written communication skills
*Technical:*
> Strong knowledge of application development.
> 1yr+ experience of , JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML, Slickgrid
> 5yr+ experience developing applications.
> 1yr+ experience with jQuery & jQuery UI.
> Experience with Oracle databases.
> Knowledge of System Development Methodology.
*Judgment Requirement :*
Other than standard guidelines, procedures and assignments, little
direction may be given. The candidate should be able to manage their time
and assignments. Thoroughness in completing tasks is imperative. The
candidate will be interacting with the rest of the Information Systems
