*Requirements:*

· Perform database backup and recovery task and data migration
across environments.
· Assist with data conversion activities from other database
platforms.
· Enforce database security.
· Assume responsibility for Netezza appliance architecture.
· Participate in Netezza data modeling exercises.
· Assist with Netezza SQL and scripting.
· Monitor Netezza events and event processing.
· Analyze and optimize query performance.
· Perform periodic “health” check on Netezza appliances and
proactively tune the system.
· Maintain all database objects and cross database access.
· Provide on-call production database support after hours, as
needed.
· Perform above functions independently, while operating in a team
environment – interacting with business users and developers and providing
support and guidance as needed.
