Job Description:**
We are in search of Sr. Automated Tester with at least 6+ years of hands on
testing experience. An ideal candidate will have worked in an AGILE
environment and have at least a few years of Java development experience.
*Sr. Automated Tester* (also may be classified a Software Development
Engineer in Test)
Essential Job Functions:
· Must have 2-3 years of significant Agile experience
· *Must have Java development experience. Mid level Java developer
skills required. 2 years of experience.*
· *Must have SQL Backend testing experience*
· 2 years integration testing experience
· Create QA Task List in order to meet objectives and deadlines
· Participate in Requirement & Design Doc review session; evaluate
requirements & design docs from a quality testability standpoint
· Create Detailed Test Cases for full requirement
coverage/traceability
· Execute Test Cases to validation correct functionality of
application
· Manage test coverage based on risk analysis
· Document defects and evaluate priority of defect based on overall
application functionality
· Coordinate Test Case Reviews with stakeholders are being held as
appropriate.
· Perform various types of testing including white box, black box,
integration, back-end DB validation, system testing as needed
· Adhere to requirement review, defect writing & test case writing
guidelines
· Keep Lead Tester informed of current state of quality and test
progress
· Ensure completion of all deliverables within schedule, budget and
quality constraints.
· Participate in Root Cause Analysis sessions
· Ensure that projects follow prescribed software development life
cycle standards.
· Develop and maintain good relationships with project team.
· Help identify obstacles and roadblocks; and offer suggestions to
work around obstacles
