*Job Title : **ETL Developer *
*Location : Portland, OR***
*Duration : 6+ Months*
Basic Qualifications:**
· Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience
· 6+ years of experience as ETL developer (Informatica),--building
mappings, sessions, and workflows in accordance with industry standard best
practices. Must be able to architect ETL solutions appropriate for task at
hand, or modify existing code.
· 5 years experience with analytical manipulation and
interpretation of large SQL databases required. Oracle is preferred, but
SQL Server, Teradata or DB2 would also be helpful.
· Ability to write complex queries and procedures is needed.
· Experience in complex SQL query tuning and Informatica
performance optimization.
· Experience with Unix, Windows, operating systems required.
· Good analytic and critical thinking , writing , communication and
consulting skills. Must work well within a team. Must be an independent
self-starter.
· Proven leadership in consulting. Must exhibit efficiency,
collaboration, candor, openness, and results orientation.
· Comfortable creating documentation and specifications for ETL
code.

Preferred Qualifications:**
· Experience with Business Objects, Microstrategy, Cognos, or
similar reporting tool.
· Experience working with flat files, XML, Web Services, and
Message Queues
· Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting.
· Familiarity with hierarchical databases
· Certification in Informatica, Oracle, or Teradata
· Experience writing PL/SQL packages, functions, and procedures.
