*Responsibilities*
o Strong software systems design skills and familiarity with the current
industry best practices
o Strong Java, Spring Framework experience.
o Experience with Python, Django, Bottle frameworks
o Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other database software
o Prior experience developing Device Management Systems is a major plus
o Experience creating Web UIs using: JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, client
frameworks (jQuery, Backbone, etc..). HTML5 is a big plus.
o Experience with HTTP, RESTful APIs, XML, JSON
*Requirements:*
o 10+ years User Experience Design experience
o Experience with Middle tier (Java or Python) development experience
o Minimum BS degree
o Leading customers and third-parties through open discussion to
understand design objectives
o A great portfolio of work / samples of interaction design work is a
must
o A formal education in Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial
Design, HCI, Architecture, or related field would help
o Expertise in visual design & prototyping skills.
o Solid IT networking understanding is essential; experience in
hardware, application monitoring, or security products is a plus
