We have an urgent requirement for our Client for Sr J2EE Developers with
UI/Web Services Experience
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Location: Denver CO
Job Description/Skills Required:
3+ years experience in large n-tier web applications
Experience with MVC frameworks like Spring Web MVC 2.x, Spring WebFlow 2.x,
and Struts 2.x.
Hands-on experience in creating custom tags.
Expertise in CSS 2, CSS3 a plus
Website Design Technologies like JavaScript, AJAX, DHTML, XHTML.
Experience using Web 2.0 JavaScript Frameworks like YUI 2/3, JQuery,
ProtoType, Dojo etc.
Experience developing layouts with Apache Tiles
Experience with Spring Framework Core 2.5x
Experience in eclispse 3.x
Experience using Spring WebServices 1.5x from both client and server
perspectives
Thorough understanding of cookies, HTTP Headers, HTTP protocol, SSL
Knowledge and past use of performance tuning techniques to reduce load
times, including CSS Sprites, CSS & JavaScript minification, combination,
HTML reduction etc.
Experience in debugging and optimizing JavaScript
Use of Fiddler or similar HTTP debugging tools
Experience with Web development technologies like JSP 2.x, Servlets 2.5
OXM technologies like JIBX, Castor, JAXP, JAXB, XMLBeans etc. would be nice
to have.
ORM technologies like OpenJPA, iBatis, Hibernate 3.3, EclipseLink 1.x etc
would be nice to have.
Web Services fundamentals like WSDL, Schema Design, Name space design, SAAJ,
MTOM etc.
Application Servers like Oracle Weblogic Server 11gR1, BEA Weblogic Server
8.x, 9.x, 10.x, WebSphere Application Server 6.x, JBoss Application Server
4.x.
Oracle development like PL/SQL, Oracle SQL etc would be nice to have.
Understanding of Message Oriented Middle ware like Weblogic JMS, IBM
WebSphere MQ etc. would be nice to have
Unit Testing tools like JUnit, htmlUnit, EasyMock.
Performance tools like Quest JProbe, Compuware Vantage Analyzer.
SCM tools like Serena Dimensions, Clearcase, Visual SourceSafe, and PVCS
etc.
Code Coverage tools like Clover.
Hands-on experience in developing Ant scripts for automated build and
deployment process would be nice to have.
Knowledge of integrating a unit test suite into the build process to flag
the build as failed or passed based on the outcome of the unit test suite
execution.
Good working knowledge of UML
Good communication and teamwork skills a must
Experience working in an agile process such as Scrum, XP.
