Storage Resource – Primary focus is EMC VMAX. Pls make sure candidate knows
VMAX very well.
Has good communication skills and exposure to multiple storage technologies.
* Has experience of handling and managing team
* Certification in Storage is preferred
* Has worked on Hitachi Modular (Lightning series), Enterprise storages
(Thunder, USP, USPV) and Replication Technologies
* Storage provisioning on high end storage sub systems EMC V-Max, X
P12000/24000, Hitachi, IBM XIV etc, knowledge in 3PAR storage is preferred.
* Has good knowledge of working on Storage Navigator, Hi Command Device
Manager (HDvM), Tuning Manager (HTnM), Replication Manager (HRpM).
* Exposure to Cisco MDS SAN switches and Brocade SAN switches.
* Proficient with daily tasks which include lun mapping and masking, new
host additions.
* Has exposure on True Copy, Universal Replicator, Shadow Image (Split,
Resync, new PAIR creations).
* Has exposure in troubleshooting HDS error and working on Hardware
failures.
