*Position Description/Responsibilities:*
1 J2EE Developer with SAS, Informatica

*Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design*
* Experience with SpringFramework- Spring JMS, Spring JDBC, Spring
MVC, Srping Webflow, Spring Batch
* Experience with Hibernate
• Implement distributed enterprise-level applications that model clients’
processes, practices, and concepts by designing service oriented
architectures, deploying and configuring these components and supporting the
development of application clients that access them.
• Research & analyze information to determine, recommend and plan
installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.
• Assist with the development of J2EE applications.
• Monitor, maintain and resolve J2EE application problems on WebSphere
application server.
• Provide assistance to team involving web application and large database
WebSphere 6.x.
• Develop and complete software system testing and validation procedures.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics tasks for application and system
equipment and provide risk mitigation plans for technical implementation
alternatives.
• Prepare and document support infrastructure build and operations
procedures.
• Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and
software.
• Develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer
problems.
• Keep abreast of emerging software development and inform management of
trends and impact.
• Participate in functional requirements and design document and other
system life-cycle documentation to meet SDLC and CMMI requirements.
• Code, test, debug, implement, and document programs.
• Create appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code,
and technical documentation.
• Gather information from existing systems and analyze program and time
requirements.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing time estimates and justification
for assigned tasks. Supporting project personnel in resolving fairly complex
program problems.
• Work with client and management to resolve issues and validate programming
requirements within their areas of responsibility.
• Provide technical advice on complex programming.
• Communicate verbally and in writing functional requirements to both
technical and non-technical audiences to facilitate the development of
solutions.
• Serve as a technical resource to less experienced personnel.
• Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
• Must have a complete understanding of the deployment process and perform
deployments as needed.
• Maven - Understand Apache Maven for use as a build tool, dependency
management tool, testing and coverage tool and project documentation
management. Experience using Maven repositories for third party
dependencies and internally developed artifacts. Experience configuring
Maven plugins.
• Subversion - Experience using source code management systems, specifically
Subversion. Specifically code versioning, tagging and branching concepts.
Understanding of connecting to Subversion directly from Eclipse.
• XML/XML Schema/Jibx - Understanding of XML Schema and experience creating
model via XML Schema. Experience using XML standalone and within Java via
JAXP. Experience using the Jibx XML binding API.
• JUnit - Experience in writing repeatable tests using the JUnit API and
providing the defined minimal test coverage.
• JIRA - Must have used issue tracking and task management systems,
preferably Jira, for receiving and reporting task, issues and other project
related issues. Ability to follow documented protocol and procedure with
regard to entering, updating and closing issues and/or tasks.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
* Experience with Informatica SDK and SAS SDK a plus
Minimum Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in software development of
J2EE applications.
• Must be highly proficient and have demonstrated ability in designing,
coding, debugging, testing, and documenting programs using SOAP, WSDL C+,
C++, HTML, JavaScript, JSP, EJB, Spring/Hibernate/iBATIS, JCA, PHP, XML,
SQL, JDBC, IBM HTTP, J2EE, Flex, Parsley, and BlazeDS.
• Ability to develop and integrate software in TIBCO, Weblogic, Websphere
Application Server, WebSphere Porta and WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Business
Integrator Broker, Java Webservices, UNIX, Linux, Solaris, and Windows
Enterprise application.
• Requires experience in developing of the functional requirements,
designing documents and other system life-cycle documentation to meet SDLC
and CMMI requirements.
