*Responsibilities:*

- Gathering the business requirements form end users and clients and
building the prototype model.
- Day to day activities to maintain the application without any down
time.
- Understand business and maintain Cognos Enterprise Planning models.
- Apply business changes to the models.
- Creating D-Lists and working on different properties of *D-list such as
Item names, Formats, Calculations and Calculation Options.*
- Creating D-Cubes which are more power full than spread sheets that can
give access to all the dimensions within one D-Cube, and the ability to
re-position the D-Lists to display the data according to user needs.
- Creating D Links to transfer the data from one cube to another cube.
Used different options in a D link such as Matched Descriptions when the
item names are identical and Allocations when you want to pair different
items. Populating the data using D links whenever necessary.
- Analyzing the existing Cognos BI reports, flush out the business logic
and format them in a presentable business format
- Interaction with End User Clients for conceptual changes to the
model.
- Sustaining activities like running Macros, D-Links, and Admin Links
etc.
- Publishing data from Contributor to Cognos BI for reporting.
- Integrate Cognos EP with Cognos BI.
- Configure common Gateway for Cognos BI and EP.
- Pilot project installing and migrating existing models to 8.3 EP.
- Manage Users, Roles and responsibilities through LDAP tool.
- Using LDAP to maintain users having access to the models.
- Access Rights, Users Class, Groups to manager users.
- Contributor Administration Console ( CAC )
- Creating Managing Macros to automate processes.
- Maintain Analyst Macros, Contributor Macros for automation.
