*Skills:*
· A minimum of 8 years experience as a data modeler/ information
architect
· Interpret customer needs, performing data profiling and analysis,
and developing data models that correspond to the business and technical
requirements.
· Lead data model reviews with business and technical audiences and
create a comprehensive domain model which considers interactions between
various systems.
· Develop object models that will correctly surface product and
supporting information in context of user tasks.
· Knowledge of Data Warehousing Architectures, ERD toolkits (Erwin)
and Business Intelligence tools (Business Objects, Cognos, etc.) as well as
experience with data profiling tools
· Strong relational database skills, specifically understanding SQL
queries and core database structures (keys, dimensional models, slowly
changing dimensions, etc.)
· Deep understanding of business analytics
· Ability to perform detailed data analysis (e.g. determine the
structure, content and quality of the data through examination of source
systems and data samples)
· Experience leading and facilitating requirements and analysis
meetings, including resolution of conflicts over data and business rule
definitions
· Working knowledge of User Centered Design Principles and Practices
