Location: Morristown, New Jersey Start Date: Immediate Duration: 6 months, Contract to Hire Rate: $65/hr max Status: Green Card / US Citizens Only 1. SAS Administrator: **STRONG WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF JBOSS, WEBLOGIC and WEBSPHERE IS ALSO REQUIRED ** Need to administer the complete SAS Platform including products from the SAS EBI (ie. EG and Stored Processes) and SAS DI. Administration responsibilities to include but not limited to: . creating users/groups; . creating SAS Folder structure; . create libraries (SAS Oracle); . coordinating with UNIX admin for folder and resource security; . applying ACTs and metadata security; . working with and applying roles; . registering and productionalizing stored processes; . starting and stopping SAS servers; . troubleshooting server errors. Administration as it relates to SAS EBI, examples of responsibilities to include but not limited to: . data access; folder access; . securing information maps, BI Dashbaords, Portal Content; . Manage Content Server; . Publication Channels for centralized EG adhoc report storage; . troubleshoot BI products; work with mid-tier containers such as JBOSS, WebLogic, Websphere. Administration as it relates to SAS DI, examples of responsibilities to include but not limited to: . work with DI developers to get them access to relevant data sources and targets; . troubleshooting server problems (i.e. performance); . scheduling and monitoring of DI/ETL jobs. Additional responsibilities: Educate users in the how to use EBI products like EG, Stored Process Server, WRS, IMS, Portal, BI Dashboard, AMO. 2. SAS DI Architect: Advanced Data Integration architect that knows SAS DI Studio in its most complex ways. DI Architect responsibilities to include but not limited to: . Architect needs to have experience using Oracle as both a source and target; . Architect needs to have experience with integrating relational data with flat files; . Architect needs to have experience using SAS DI studio to write ETL jobs and to address ETL related performance issues . Architect needs to know how to write data validation, quality and cleansing routines using Base SAS and SAS DI studio . Architect will need to work with BI team to create reporting marts that are needed for report development; . Architect will also work with SAS Administrator to get DI jobs appropriately scheduled with correct dependencies; . Architect will need to have the ability to work with ERWIN mappings, technical documents and other types of documentation in order to create the appropriate source to target mapping and transformations; .
