[Savannah-register-public] [task #10499] Submission of Toonloop

Follow-up Comment #2, task #10499 (project administration):

August 19th 2010 in GNU Savannah task #10499: "Submission of
Toonloop".

Hi everybody.

Thanks for the comments Kete.

Alexandre: I also noticed another problem: In "how-to.html" you
suggest the user to install one of Ubuntu or Debian GNU/Linux
distributions. We don't endorse neither Debian nor Ubuntu because
they include and/or suggest the use of proprietary software. Our aim
is to promote free software, not proprietary software. More
information in http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/common-distros.html.

If you want to provide examples of installation in specific GNU/Linux
distributions, could you please quote fully free ones?. We maintain a
list of these in http://www.gnu.org/distros/free-distros.html. If you
absolutely should quote one non-fully-free distribution please provide
information about the propritary software it contains and instructions
to replace/delete it.

~~

Please fix this issues and provide a updated tarball. You can ethier
attach it to the tracker or use an external hosting and provide a
*direct* download URL. Re-submission of the whole project isn't
necessary, we only need the updated tarball :-).

Regards and thanks for your interest in free software.

* Name: *Lout*
* System Name:  *lout*
* Type: non-GNU software & documentation
* License: GNU General Public License v3 or later (Lout is a ~20 year old
free software project, originally developed by Jeff Kingston as part of his
research activities at the University of Sydney.

Historically, Lout-related resources have been scattered: the tarballs are at
 and mirrored at
, the mailing list (now defunct)
is at , and a wiki is at
.

The goal here would be to move all these resources in one place, and Savannah
seems like a good choice. :-)

There are technical issues, though:

  - We'll want to import the mailing list archive.

  - Ideally, we'd like to import the wiki, but my understanding is that
Savannah doesn't officially support Wikis, except perhaps in some cases (e.g.,
).

Any idea whether/how this can be done?)

 Description:
Lout is a document formatting system designed and implemented by Jeffrey
Kingston at the Basser Department of Computer Science, University of Sydney,
Australia.

The system reads a high-level description of a document similar in style to
LaTeX and produces a PostScript file which can be printed on most laser
printers and graphic display devices. A plain text output option is available,
as is a highly experimental PDF output mode (users are encouraged to generate
PostScript, then convert to PDF using GhostScript instead.)

Lout is inherently multilingual. Adding new languages is easy. The following
languages are currently supported (in alphabetical order): Czech, Danish,
Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian,
Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish.

 Other Software Required:
(none)

[Savannah-register-public] [task #10488] Submission of Learning Correct Programming

2010-08-19 Thread Shiv Shankar Dayal

Follow-up Comment #9, task #10488 (project administration):

Hi,

Thank you for approving the project. I will put license information in clear
fashion everywhere. Actually oz.top is not supposed to be part of repository.
I am sorry if you have found it as part of tarball. It is one of the
intermediate files of TeX processing.

Best regards,
Shiv
