I added those in the attached tarball. Also, I upgraded to GPL v3.
I hope the corrected version will be OK and I didn't forget
anything.

Please, note also that I've changed the email address under which I
can be reached for this project to .

If possible, I'd like to have this project under CVS.

Please, let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks for your help with this,

Roland

Follow-up Comment #1:

Hi Wilson,

I am reviewing your submission on behalf of Savannah. There are a few minor
issues with it:
* There is not a README file in your project, nor a docs directory. It would
help users and developers to include some documentation.
* The file you uploaded is ended in .tar.gz but in fact it is just an
uncompressed tarball (should be .tar). Not a big issue but I wanted to point
it out; tarballs should be compressed using gzip to maximize Savannah
resources.
* Also, this file contains one directory called viny, when common practice is
to include version number: viny-0.1. Also it contains two directories: media
and viny -- this is mildly confusing.
* I don't know how practical it is to enforce a license such as the CC you
mention; the "non-commercial" part may be too restrictive.

These are just personal opinions; the package as sent is compliant with the
hosting requirements, so I am approving your submission. Have fun!

I've approved your project--welcome on board! :-)

[Savannah-register-public] [task #10563] Submission of Lout

2010-09-06 Thread Karl Berry

Follow-up Comment #4, task #10563 (project administration):

Hi Ludo -- regarding the mailing list, I can import the archive, assuming you
have a big mbox file.

Regarding the wiki, my impression is that the existing GNU wikis are all
hosted outside of savannah (and www.gnu.org). hurd.gnu.org seems to be at the
FSF; I suppose we could ask the sysadmins about it. Another possibility is
chapters.gnu.org in Spain, run by Jose and Nacho. Not sure if they support
wikis there.

Follow-up Comment #3, task #10563 (project administration):

Hello,

Thanks for your response.

We agree on adding the required headers where they're missing. I suggest
that we go on setting up the project and repository, as you proposed, where
we'll fix things. We'll use SVN.

Besides, what about the mailing list and wiki import issues mentioned in the
original request?

Thanks,
Ludo'.

[Savannah-register-public] [task #10496] Submission of Quagga Routing Software

2010-09-06 Thread Alex Fernandez

Follow-up Comment #3, task #10496 (project administration):

Thanks, Karl; of course it was just a suggestion, and maybe I should have
said so. Anyway you understand that it's better to be sure that the GNU
project had given its blessings to the fork, or at least that a friendly merge
had been tried.

Follow-up Comment #2, task #10496 (project administration):

Alex, you're right in general to mention the possibility of collaborating
with an existing package (like GNU Zebra). However, in this particular case
Paul and I have exchanged many emails over many years about the situation, and
it seems the two packages have to remain separate for the foreseeable future,
unfortunately.
