Follow-up Comment #1:

Hello Marc,

I think there's a confusion: you've submitted the bug on Savannah's bug
tracker (the places for bugs relating to the operation of
https://savannah.gnu.org ).

>From your description I assume you meant to submit a 'wget' bug.

Please do so here:
  https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=additem&group=wget

Or write to bug-w...@gnu.org
(or visit here: https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-wget ).

As such,
I'm closing this bug here.

regards,
 - assaf

Follow-up Comment #3, task #14297 (project administration):

I've now included a copyright for the 2 bitmap files. I also added a file with
my email address. The updates can be found via the same URL I initially used,
as well as on Savannah, because I uploaded a copy here too.

Hi Jeff,

How do I edit the description in the registration?

You'll be able to update the description (and most everything else)
after the submission is approved. Which I'm guessing Ineiev will do
when he has a chance. --thanks, karl.

[Savannah-register-public] [task #14387] Submission of Gene Hightower's SMTP server

2017-02-28 Thread Karl Berry
Follow-up Comment #6, task #14387 (project administration):

There is no other third-party GPLv3 code in the present case, is there? Not
seeing any in Gene's list.

Since this exception is used in GNU packages, I think Savannah (clearly)
should accept it.

Down-the-road hackers would always have the option of removing the permission,
and the dependency on OpenSSL, e.g., if they wanted to combine this package
with other GPLv3 code that doesn't have the additional permission.
