[Savannah-register-public] [task #6797] Submission of Controller for a Novation A-Station
Follow-up Comment #3, task #6797 (project administration): OK, I think the code is adequately copyrighted now, it's current state is pre alpha. Everything should compile via the normal path (configure ...) if alsa and gtkmm are present, but the functionality is far from finished. What little is there is tested and seems to work. There might be a dependency on boost later if the code gets more complicated, I'll let you know. Hope to hear from you soon Immanuel (file #12673) ___ Additional Item Attachment: File name: nostation-0.1.tar.bz2 Size:358 KB ___ Reply to this item at: http://savannah.gnu.org/task/?6797 ___ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/

Follow-up Comment #5, task #6797 (project administration): Ok, That is because I was using the autotoolset gpl.el to insert the copyright. It has the wrong address. The file COPYING does have the correct one. I'll change it in my files before uploading them. Update of task #6797 (project administration): Status:None = Wait reply Assigned to:None = sp ___ Follow-up Comment #1: Hi, I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah. Please include a (perhaps temporary) URL pointing to the source code. Alternatively, you can forward the code to me by email or attach it to this tracker. We wish to review your source code, even if it is not functional, to catch potential legal issues early. For example, to release your program properly under the GNU GPL you must include a copyright notice and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every copyrightable file, usually any file more than 10 lines long. This is explained in http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html. Our review would help catch potential omissions such as these. Note that sending code to our repositories _is_ a release, since the code will then be publicly available through anonymous access. To help us better keep track of your registration, please use the tracker's web interface following the link below. Do not reply directly, the registration process is not driven by e-mail, and we will not receive such replies. As an interface I use the A-Station specific midi controllers and sysexes which are described in the (freely available) documentation. The A-Station is a simple synth but I am hoping to develop this project into framework for writing application to control midi devices (of which I own far too many). The application language is C++. The software is prealpha, and I am looking for a place to host it. Other Software Required: 1) C++ compiler 2) gtkmmm http://www.gtkmm.org/ ___ Reply to this item at: http://savannah.gnu.org/task/?6797 ___ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
