Description:
This software provides data archiving resistant to tampering. It is intended
to provide evidence for (tax/legal/etc.) authorities or partners. Instead of
using an obscure approach relying on the software internals being secret, it
works by creating strong mathematical evidence. Thereby, it creates more
freedom for the user, because a program that achieves this goal without
relying on obscurity can afford to be freely modifyable without losing the
power of creating evidence. It uses free software tools like the git version
control system, the procmail mail processor and the bash shell as its building
blocks.
Other Software Required:
GNU bash, GPLv2, http://www.gnu.org
git, GPLv2, http://git.or.cz/
procmail, dual GPLv2 and Artistic License, http://procmail.org
