IcedTea CPU 100% utilization

i just installed icedtea-web-1.2.3-4.el6_4.x86_64 with Java 1.7 in parallel
with existing java 1.6. Linked IcedTeaPlugin.so to .mozilla/plugins to
enable in FF and now "enjoying " a 200% CPU utilization with FF been frozen
while java.com is "checking for java been enabled"

is it known or i did something wrong trying to get java applets to run in
the  browser (17.0.5 x64)?

It seems people here are adults with enough demands on their time that we
just adapt rather than complain. The lack of comment here on this issue
seems to support this view. It's REALLY refreshing.

In this case my rule is to simply do what the last commenter did to avoid
tangled morasses of comments. The exception is when I am interspersing
comments. Then I put my reply right under the section to which I am
commenting. Overall that seems to work best for the needs of clear
communications, our real goal.
