Thanks David.
That tidied it up nicely.

el7 USB kickstart installer available

2017-02-02 Thread Konstantin Olchanski
Hello there! I updated my USB installer instructions for
the latest CentOS7.3, as likely as not they will work just
fine for SL7.3.

https://daqshare.triumf.ca/~olchansk/linux/CentOS7/AAA-README-USBBOOT.txt
https://daqshare.triumf.ca/~olchansk/linux/CentOS7/

Documented is how to create a bootable USB disk (16GB or larger USB flash)
with a kickstart installer for el7.3.

The main reason for creating yet another installer is to disable
the idiotic requirement of "you must create a fake user account
to finish the installation" (courtesy of gnome-initial-setup).
(This is done in the kickstart file ks.cfg via "-firstboot" and
"-gnome-initial-setup").

The main bonus is to have a kickstart installer where I can trivially
specify the timezone, etc (the stock CentOS/SL installer
images do not have any simply way to add a custom kickstart file)

(My SL6 USB installer has/had a wide selection of memtest programs,
I hope to add them back to the el7 installer eventually).

(It should be possible to add custom packages to the installer,
but I have not figured it out yet. I know people on this list
have been wondering about such a feature. For now, you can throw
any custom packages into the installer root directory
and install them by hand from the kickstart scripts).

selinux reports

2017-02-02 Thread ToddAndMargo

Hi All,

I just noticed I have "SELinux Alert Browser"has 26 reports.

Does it do any good to report them? The "report bug"
button doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe bugzilla
instead?
