To my knowledge and experience, such mails are only sent to users who signed
up for a Red Hat portal account and/or bought a Red Hat subscription and did
not uncheck/unsubscribe from such mails. I would be really surprised if Red
Hat has spent time harvesting e-mail addresses from the SL community's mailing
lists.
