Bug in last update of sudo for SL5

2012-08-17 Thread Jean-Michel Barbet

Hello,

There is a bug with an update of sudo (sudo-1.7.2p1-14.el5_8.2.x86_64) :

http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2012-1160.html

I think the fixed update (sudo-1.7.2p1-14.el5_8.3.x86_64) is not yet in
the SL5 repository.

I am raising the issue because this bug can easily disrupt services and
it is not easily spotted. Putting quickly the fixed update can save
lives :-)

Right, in 5x/x86_64/updates/fastbugs, I was looking in the 53/x86_64
/updates hierarchy. Will it appear there also at some point ?
I have a mirrorring script that looks only in 53.

The install should work via a proxy.
