nvidia-xconfig: unrecognized option: --twinview
I have a new SL6.5 install, with nvidia drivers installed for a quadro 600 with 2 DVI out ports. I am trying to re-enable both monitors, using my trusty: nvidia-xconfig -twinview but I get: nvidia-xconfig: unrecognized option: --twinview Invalid commandline, please run `nvidia-xconfig --help` for usage information. What's up? Any idea how to have twinview work, or what command replaced it? The help output seems to just omit that sort of functionality altogether... Any ideas? -- James Pulver CLASSE Computer Group Cornell University

Have you tried going to System -- Preferences --Nvidia X Server Settings? On Fri, Sep 19, 2014 at 10:47 AM, James M. RE: nvidia-xconfig: unrecognized option: --twinview
I am remote from the computer and do not have access to the display. But I did find out I needed to reboot after installing the nvidia driver to USE the nvidia driver, so I’ll let the user report back if it “just works” without the twinview option now… -- James Pulver CLASSE Computer Group Cornell University From: Tam Nguyen [mailto:tam8gu...@gmail.com] Sent: Friday, September 19, 2014 10:58 AM To: James M. Re: Mirror Status?
so there is no mirrorlist in repos configs? On 27/06/14 17:30, Chris Kolosiwsky wrote: All: Is anyone aware of an effort to update the list of sl mirrors? It seems that more than a few on the webpage as well as those in sl-security-6.txt are either no longer working or out of date. I would hate to abuse the main site and would really like to use more local mirrors, if possible.
