ps -aux

then

kill -9 (the process)

with these instruction you can use again yum :)

I can't install SL-6-i386-2011-01-21-DVD1

Hello, i am trying to install SL-6-i386-2011-01-21-DVD1, but the
message say that this kernel requires the following features not
present on the cpu:
pae
Unable to boot - please use a kernel apropriate for your CPU, i have a
compaq 610, any idea?
i want to install SL-6-i386-2011-01-21-DVD1, thanks

Hello again, also i have downloaded SL-6-i386-2011-01-21-LiveCD.iso y
tried on compaq 610 and all good, i don't understand...at the moment i
am downloading SL-6-i386-2011-01-21-LiveDVD.iso, i hope that i can
install SL6

Hello, add repoforge (http://repoforge.org/use/) you can use smplayer,
is a font-end to mplayer, you can see many formats, e.g. .flv, mpg,
.avi and more..., try it

I suppose that you have a dual boot, i have 4 operating system into my
pc, include windows, the normally process is that you should have a
grub to choose one operating system when you are starting your pc, you
can fix it with [1]
