RE: [scifinoir2] Re: My (Second) Take - Stargate Universe
That's something I fully expect to happen more often as the series goes on, people choosing to go through the gate to alternate available addresses, figuring that what's on the other side may be unknown, but it's not moving aimlessly and breaking down at every turn. Re: [scifinoir2] Re: My (Second) Take - Stargate Universe
I'm okay with no aliens yet, 'cause it's a vast universe and not every corner of it will be populated densely. It adds to the feeling of loneliness right now that they don't have Neelix on board to guide them to the next interstellar truck stop. I'm sure they'll meet some in time, but why rush it? I think Ming Na will emerge as a strong character, possibly a challenge to the control of the military. Indeed, that makes sense. But again, that's coming slowly, 'cause right now it's all about survival, which is why the civilian leaders are going along for now, but you now the struggles will soon be coming. Again, reminiscent of the civilian/military conflicts on BSG. - Original Message - From: angelababycat asrobin...@mindspring.com To: scifinoir2@yahoogroups.com Sent: Sunday, October 11, 2009 9:54:30 PM GMT -05:00 US/Canada Eastern Subject: [scifinoir2] Re: My (Second) Take - Stargate Universe That's another difference with this SG series: the eps are ending with little cliff hangers, which is pretty cool.
