I've
been tempted to ask the same question but decided not to bother.
I assume that people who want to know about Dundee have subscribed to
that mailing list by now.

I, for one, welcome our new Dundonian overlords.

It doesn't bother me, though I'm hardly more than a lurker to this list,
if Dundee, Aberdeen, Elgin or even Edinburgh post to this list.

I for one, welcome the Dundee news in this list. I'd still like to get it
together to go visit up there if we can get some vehicles organised. The
price of rail tickets seems to be horrendous so that idea looks dead.

Theres hardly a whole load of traffic from any quarter on this list so we
aren't being swamped by any means.

I'll see if we can get some discussion about a trip going on Thursday if we
arent too busy with general festivities.

Its not a big deal and I see no reason why the Dundee team shouldn't cross
post here. I reserve the right to change my mind if we get a whole load more
traffic but at these levels, what's the beef?

[Scottish] Drupal and the society.......

2008-02-23 Thread Arron M Finnon
In the aim of keeping everyone informed of not just developments within
Dundee, but locally in Angus/Tayside/Fife, I presume that the scotlug
list is made of people all over scotland.

We have a wide range of talkers, which as always everyone on this list
is invited too. I've even heard one or two of your guys threaten to
come visit.

This is why, i also was asked by Dan Shearer to keep posting stuff and
try and get more of our guys to post too.

On an unrelated matter, I'll try to drag myself to Glasgow on Thursday.

[Scottish] Abertay Linux Meeting Room Change for 28th of Feb

2008-02-23 Thread Arron M Finnon
Hi Guys,

Firstly can i let everyone know that there has been a change as
discussed to our normal meeting room. However this change is for this
meeting only and will go back to normal there on in wards.

The room will be moved to 3004 in the Old College building, at the
Abertay Campus. They'll be a few people at the front of the building to
show people where the room is. This meeting is the nest in the series
of flash talks (a short 10 minute, talks by members of the society on a
range of subjects that they find interesting).

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish ScotLUG who
anniversary is on the 28th too, a happy 10th Birthday. Well Done Guys
