Subject: SD fuel tank
Unless you need a new tank the Rampage tank will work fine as is. You will need a turbo fuel pump and either a turbo or TBI fuel pump hanger. Re: Subject: SD fuel tank
When I did my Rampage conversion I never noticed any problem cornering hard even with low fuel level. On the other hand both my factory turbo L bodys will starve under hard cornering when low on fuel. The rampage tank will work,BUT there is a ring inside the turbo tank that acts as a cup to keep the fuel near the pump when going around a corner.I dont know about you,but I dont want to run out of fuel under ANY boost pressure! RE SD Does this look right?
You're a little off in your VIN info. The model year of any vehicle manufactured from 1980 on is the 10th digit of the 17 digit VIN, counting from the start of the VIN Some examples are: A=1980,B=81,C=82,D=83,E=84,F=85, G=86, H=87, J=88, K=89, L=90,M= 91. Note there is no i, o ,q or y in this system. This was done to prevent confusion between similar looking letters and also so model year 2001 could begin to reuse the numeric system again. eg. 1 = 2001 Thanks Randy Hicks 86 GLH S60 86 GLHS 373 89 Turbo Minivan 83 Turbo Rampage 79 CBX slightly modified Edmonton,Alberta,Canada [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: . the third way to tell is by looking at the VIN specifically the 11th digit as counted from the left to right. A is 1981, B is 1982, C is 1983, so G is 1988 and H should denote 1989. hope this clears things up a bit mat. ---REMOVE-FOOTER-WHEN-REPLYING Questions?
