SD FS: Auto Trans - A413

2004-12-05 Thread Rick D.
I have a built A-413 trans here for sale. It was built by a buddy of mine
who is a tranny tech for Dodge. It was installed in an 88 Shadow 2.2 Turbo
I that we converted to Turbo II and run for about 2,000 miles at which
point it was removed because he decided he wanted to go back to stick. (A555)

So, now this is up for sale. It's got a new Mopar converter in it and it
had the Mopar Performance shift kit installed. New seals, bands,
etc.. all new Mopar parts inside when replaced 2,000 miles ago. Shifts
great, no problems that I had seen whatsoever.

It has some sort of adjustable line pressure gadget on it. I will include
that with the trans.

I have it palletized and ready to ship.
Email me with an offer. Listing it here first. If no takers it goes on Ebay.

SD Twin engine shadow

2004-10-25 Thread Rick D.
Guys,
I saw this car at the last SDAC drag event. I walked up the stairs to the
grandstands/bleachers and looked over to see what looked like a 88ish Dodge
Shadow ES doing a RWD burnout! I was like WTF? Then I see it
stop. Then I see it proceed to do a FWD burnout!!! (and yes the rear
wheels were now stationary!)

I spit my drink all over the place. I couldn't believe my eyes.
I walked over to the car in the pits and let me tell you guys
somethingI could not stop laughing my ass off for the next 30
minutes. This baby is SWT! Two old beat up Turbo I's shod with
log manifolds (that look to be fresh out of the junkyard - BTW) power this
cream puff! The guys that built it were all there and all were super
cool. We were all cracking up together. These guys are NOT kidding when
they tell you they have ~$300 invested in this car. Every piece
was.ahem..custom fabricated and whoever made the part signed their
name to it. I saw a sweet looking bracket that read: Chad Tech
Sucks! I almost fell down laughing!

I watched it run a 13 second pass. It looks like it has contact paper for
a paint job. I think Motor Trend should write an article on this car and
put it up against like a brand new Nissan 350z.
HAHAHA!!

Well done guys!
Later,
Rick

SD Parts for sale

2004-10-13 Thread Rick D.
2 piece intake manifold. This is out of a 1986 Omni GLHS. It comes with
the following:

Knock sensor
Charge temp sensor
All vacuum fittings
EGR valve
Fuel Rail
All 4 fuel injectors
Throttle Body w/AIS motor and TPS sensor
I am asking $250 for all of the above
OR
If you want it with a 52mm TB add $25
OR
If you want it with the injector harness add $35
If no one wants it with the injector harness, I will sell the injector
harness for $40 to the first person to email me once the intake is
sold. Keep in mind the injector harness is L-body specific.

86/87 GLHS logic module. This is a factory piece with factory CS part
number. It has not been socketed, etc.. but I can have that done for an
additional $40. Price of module - $125.

86 Omni GLHS Engine wiring harness. Complete with relays, etc.. I went
through this thing (spent 3 nights working on it) and repaired any and all
tiny little things that I could find wrong with it, (cut wires, wires that
were hard due to heat, etc... (I use heat shrink and solder as I did when I
used to wrench for Dodge). Then meticulously disassembled, cleaned,
rerouted as necc, and re-taped the entire harness. As some of you know I
presently offer reproduction GLHS overlay harnesses so I know these
harnesses inside and out. This one is super clean and in perfect working
order down to the fuse links, etc.. $300.
I also have the alternator wiring harness from this car which I will let go
for $100. If both are purchased together I will sell both for $350. This
harness is NS-1 from the dealer and has been for many years.

Turbocharger assembly out of 1986 Omni GLHS. The shaft is tight with
almost zero play and spins very free. It comes with the factory o2
housing, actuator and coolant fittings. In fact, it still has the coolant
lines on it which I will include in the deal. Price $250. Also, the Turbo
II exhaust manifold is included in this price.

SRT-4 shifter assembly. Works in Turbo Dodge cars with A523/A568
trannys. $50 takes it

Iroc R/T shifter - $35 takes it
Maserati 16v shifter with woodgrain shift knob - $75 takes
Maserati 16v tranny from 1990 Maserati TC 16v car. Email for price -
serious parties only please.

Complete, freshly rebuilt Maserati 16v short block. Includes new oil pump,
Masi 16v crank-polished and checked, Masi rods, (if you've seen these
things you know how bad a$$ they are), and the factory fully forged
pistons. Assembly meticulously assembled and gram weight balanced by me
and all ring gaps recorded. All new Mopar rings and bearings. Email for
price - serious parties only please.

Maserati 16v factory IHI turbocharger - $350
Turbo III turbocharger. Used upgraded S-70 unit. $300. Excellent
condition. Removed from car due to upgrade to hybrid unit. Includes
actuator and o2 housing unique to the Turbo III unit.

Turbo II upgraded turbocharger. Freshly rebuilt. Huge Turbo T/A
compressor wheel inside CNC machined compressor cover with Stage III
exhaust wheel! Price without actuator and without 2.5o2 housing -
$525. (will throw in a 2.25 o2 housing for free if you want it for
whatever reason-but I personally wouldn't run anything less than a 2.5 o2
housing on this puppy) Price w/actuator but w/out o2 housing -
$575. Price w/actuator and w/2.5 Turbonetics o2 housing- $625.

Titanium valve spring retainers - 16v Turbo III $180/set (qty16)
Same as above but made for Maserati TC 16v engine - $180 (qty16)
Turbo II valve cover (needs refinishing) $20
1986 Omni GLHS valve cover w/factory Mobil One plaque - $45 (needs
refinishing to be perfect)

A555/A568 Getrag Main shaft. (aka intermediate shaft). This is the shaft
that takes a beating and usually gets destroyed due to brunelling of the
shaft. This part has been NS-1 from the dealer for many years. I have one
brand new in the Mopar wrapper. If someone out there needs this thing
email me with your offer. I am looking for an offer commensurate with what
I paid for it back when you *used* to be able to get them.

Injector harness out of 1993 Iroc R/T. $50
A/C compressor from 1990 Maserati TC 16v car. $50 takes it
Nippondenso alternator from 90 TC 16v car - $50 (condition unknown never
tested)
same as above but from 89 Omni - $40 (condition unknown, never tested)
High performance coil for 2.2 8v cars. Chrome Accel coil. I got it from a
buddy and never used it back when my car was 8v. I think I traded him
something for it...$10 takes it.

Turbo II training video - $25. Covers the 1987 Turbo II engine and
discusses the differences between Turbo I and Turbo II. Very neat and fun
to watch. I also include footage of a commercial with Carroll Shelby and
some racing footage from the 89 SCCA runoffs. (87 Shelby CSX won 1st in
it's class).

Video of the 16v maserati engine and all it's unique pieces! Also include
the footage of the 87 Turbo II engine mentioned above as well as the video
of Shelby, the racing footage and a 1 hour

SD New purchase and Parts FS

2004-10-01 Thread Rick D.
I just recently purchased an 86 Omni GLH-S and have the following items I
carefully removed from it for sale. The car has 30k original miles on
it. The reason for selling the following items from it is because it will
be going to 16v.

1- Two piece intake, complete with fuel rail, injectors, throttle body,
injector wiring harness, fuel pressure regulator, and EGR valve. Can
supply a 52mm TB if you want instead. I have like 4 of them laying around.

2- Turbocharger complete with actuator, o2 housing, EGR return tube still
connected, oil feed line and coolant feed line still connected, and turbo
II exhaust manifold. Excellet shape, spins perfect, tight shaft, no play,
no signs of smoke, etc.. Car ran very well.

3- Engine Wiring Harness, complete. Including starter harness and
alternator harness and overlay harnesses unique from Shelby Automobiles for
GLHS cars.

4- Valve cover with original Mobil One plaque still attached. Says Use
only Mobil One as recommended in Shelby GLHS owners manual - words fading
on it.

5- Logic Module - stock original CS part number
I have the rad/cooler and factory GLHS fan out of it too, but that's
already spoken for by another SDML member. I won't be able to use the
stock rad/cooler anyway and I didn't need it. Still debating whether or
not this little booger is going to get a Lotus head or Maserati head, but
I'd sure like to squeeze a Lotus head in there, but with such limited space
in the nose (read: none) it will be tough. Might have to go with a Masi
setup on this one. This is my first 86 'S' car so I'm excited about
building it up!! I'm not used to these Omnis.not much room in the
front for an intercooler, etc..!

Send me a private email and make me an offer on these parts. If I don't
end up selling them in the next week or two, I'll Ebay 'em...

Thanks!
