RE SD T-Top Bags?
i had a group buy on these t top bags quite a while ago as i needed a set for my 88 shelby Z T top car. a bunch of people wanted them but only 2 or 3 actually sent the money to have these done. i wanted payment in hand before i put in the order to have it done since i didnt want to be suck with 15 pairs of top bags. my local upholstery shop made them the exact size and seams as the originals since i had a half destroyed bag for them to use as a blueprint for their measurements, they even sewed in the velcro for the opening flaps in the exact spots as the originals, however they made them out of a better marine grade vinyl than the cheap crap the originals were made of. its been more than a few years ago so i dont remember the cost. i am thinking of having a matching set for my pacifica T top car made also. if you are interested let me know. i can get you a price including shipping. the last sets i had made for those who sent money for them were very happy with the product they recieved. if you are interested i can get you a cost to have them done along with a price for me to ship them to you. mat ---REMOVE-FOOTER-WHEN-REPLYING Questions? SD T-Top Bags?
well after searching what was left in my parents house after their house fire, and my car, and the barn we stored everything in, my T-Top bags have come up missing. My fiancie asked if she could make some new ones up for me, maybe make them a little more personal with a logo or initials or something on them. My question is, has anyone tried this before? I know they weren't anything real special, but they seem to sell for quite a bit on ebay and even the list. Any ideas for improvements on the current design? Anyone know where we might find some directions or should we just measure and test fit? Thanks for any comments! Re: SD T-Top Bags?
Measure and sew. Just make sure to use a soft lining so it doesn't scratch the glass.
