Well the rocker bit the dust ( it must have been flying around the valve cover) so I pulled one from my other engine but it is a stamped one and the one in the car is a cast kind, does it matter if its cast or stamped? Re: SD no compression in cyl 3?
Glad to hear you got it working. Were your cam and rocker very worn? One of my GLHS's was clattering a lot. I switched over to a roller cam/followers setup. Nice and quiet after that. When my Sister lost here first rocker, she was quoted something like $800 for a cam and a couple rockers. I brought her car over here. Then for $20.00, I found a perfect cam (hers was really worn) and all the rockers. Spent about 1.5 hours and put all that in. My brother calls me the next day and asked. What did you do to her car? It never ran that good when I owned it Bob DohertyCoon Rapids, MN. Re: SD no compression in cyl 3?
Another thing I had seen in the past were burnt exhaust valves. Remember that 0 compression isn't usually a rocker off, it requires something to be open, valve, seat dropped, big hole in the middle of the piston, etc. I would do a leak down test and see where you pressure is going.
