Hi gang,

Can't resist piling on. For nearly 16,000 on-line calculators for every conceivable
purpose, go to:

OK, while we're throwing in links to favorite tools, here's mine:

http://www.calculator.org/download.html

Calc98 is a free whizbang calculator which does all the conversions that
Convert does, plus it is a calculator (decimal, octal, base-n, binary,
financial, hexadecimal, and stats). Also handles RPN, basic matrix and
array calculations, function mapping, etc. Also, the conversion tables can
be edited and amended to handle your favorite units (I edited mine to
handle the famous 'furlongs per fortnight' conversion).

Oh, yeah -- forgot to mention that the key layout/size, display size and
aspect, and general interface configuration (fonts, colors, etc.) are all
customizable.

Don't be intimidated by the feature list, though. In it's standard
incarnation it's just a helluva good calculator and convertor.

If you ever need to convert a measurement from mm to inch (or vice versa)
and
you don't have your ruler handy this is a good source

Here's another table, with the conversion factors

Burgess,
Great tool!. Used the shift key to find your furlongs per fortnight
conversion and can now time my favorite horse.
