Listers,

Stick with distilled water. The process of R-O is a fine one for
drinking and purification but it is no substitute for distilled
de-ionized H20.

The R-O process will remove particulate to a very large degree but not
all metals, mineralization and chemicals can be removed by these units.
As we utilize them on our boats for mainstay water production we are
fully aware of their use and function. To make a solar distiller is
quite simple and this will eliminate your requirement for buying
distilled water or taking risks with R-O water.

Just offering what we find necessary to maintain a quality product.

Today I built my generator, and just for fun, not having yet received my
silver I put copper wires into tap water (like Mike), and got exactly the
same reaction (i.e. a cloud of white coming off one electrode, and bubbles
off the other). Once again, not trying to be scientific, but curious, I put
the same electrodes into water from our reverse osmosis water system, and
the result was totally different. After a bit of time I started to see tiny
bubbles form on one electrode, but no cloud coming off the other. Now, I
have no idea how many ppm manages to get through the RO membrane, but I will
do some experiments and report back to the group. RO water is cheaper than
 distilled water.

I agree that it is fun to watch things start to happen from something as
simple as 3- 9-volt batteries and a light bulb. How simple can you get?

This whole thing is mind-blowing. I have some ideas of how we might be able
to be the first in history to by-pass the drug industry and get something
 approved (Power to the People!!!).

Cisco,
If you don't mind, would you please post to the list how to make a
solar distiller. I would love to have a distiller, but can't afford
to let go of $200+ right now.
Thanks for your help, and the wonderful work you do for the people
there.
God Bless you and your ministry!

Ok, ok, so I did it all wrong!! LOL My wife is actually happy about it.
She's laid claim to the 8oz of unreliable product to use on the plants
in the garden. I'll be buying some good water tonight; will clean the
wires and try again.

How much should I take of it? I can't seem to find the dosage email I
thought I had saved.

Re: Position of electrodes ?

1998-05-10 Thread M. G. Devour
Wy back 3 days ago Frank asked:

Is there a minimum distance from the sides of the glass jar that the
 electrodes should be?

If the electrodes get too close to the jar you'll get a mirrorlike
silver deposit in the area. I'm not sure there's any other problem
with it. I just put mine near the middle of the glass, at least a
half-inch, three quarters of an inch away.

And is there an optimum or recommended distance between the
electrodes? How does the seperation distance have any effect on the
 production of CS?

People use 1/2 to an inch. Mine are 3/4 apart. How critical is it?
Just in reproduceability.

If you're going to get the same concentration as I do, using my
exact recipe, you'll also have to reproduce my electrode geometry,
in terms of wetted length, spacing, wire diameter, etc.

Lots of setups produce perfectly serviceable CS. The challenge is to
know what you've got in terms of concentration.

Be well,

Mike D.

List,
I just learned a couple of other good things to do for Hep C. I was
talking to a guy in a health food store today who had some people
with Hep C coming to him for help. He was using MacroForce Beta 1,
3-D glucan (said he had used other brands and they were not near as
good) their number is 1-888-246-6839. I have looked at Beta 1, 3-D
glucan, did a test on my wife. We looked at the blood before and
after two weeks of taking this stuff, and I did see an increase of
white blood cells after the two weeks. It is supposed to regulate
your immune system. Also, he was using two Enzymatic Therapy
products, one was their Thymus supplement, and I can't remember the
other. When I get a chance to look at ET products, maybe it will come
back to me!
Hope this may help. The MacroForce alone brought one guys liver
enzyme level from over 400 to around 90 in about a six month period.
God Bless!
Jim

As you're already figuring out from the other responses it's your use
of tap water, even filtered, that'll cause you some problems here.

For my first batch I also tried to use water from our activated
charcoal filter, but the reaction was way too fast and pretty
quickly turned into a muddy mess, instead of the clear or golden
CS people talk about.

The problem with charcoal is, while it may take out chlorine and a
*lot* of organics and solids, it allows any dissolved salts to remain
in the output. Not a problem for drinking, in fact a decent source
of some minerals, but not good enough for making CS.

Use distilled water. Nothing fancier than the distilled water sold
in jugs in the grocery store. Just be sure it's steam distilled, or
similar wording, and not just spring water or something that is
just run through a filter.

What you'll get is a much slower reaction, but also smaller particles
that are certain to be safe to ingest.

The product you're making with non-distilled water is suitable for
swimming pools and animals and the like, but I normally wouldn't
drink it myself.

Even the folks who use salt to boost the production rate still tell
you to start with distilled water. That way you know what you've got
in there.

Still, I felt the same excitement when I saw all that stuff
*happening* in that little glass of water! I'm just satisfied with it
happening a little slower these days!

Good start, Mike!

Mike D.
