Thanks,, Hi John, Good question. Deionized water and distilled water are NOT the same thing. Regular water can be deionized by running it thru an activated charcoal filter, its still not pure or pathogenically safe to drink. Deionized water means it has been given an equal number of H+ and OH- ions ,in other words its neutral in the PH scale. Distilled water is usually made PH neutral (deionized) by passing it thru an activated charcoal filter. The SEARS distiller does that. Deionization does not make water safe to drink or clean, distilling will make the water clean (pure) and safe to drink ( sterile). There were postings on PH. They can be reposted if anyone wants them. Bless you Bob Lee -- oozing on the muggy shore of the gulf coast l...@fbtc.net Hi John, Your question is: Is it better to use? Your original question was: What is deionized water,(?) Is it (as) good to drink as (compared) to regular distilled water? Its your choice John, there is no such thing as better, its all in what you want your water to be. If you have clean ,sterile, deionized water and want to drink it ,thats fine. If you have clean, sterile, deionized distilled water and you want to drink it,thats fine. Its your choice. If your water can only claim its deionized and thats all its got going for it I`d pass on it. Thats my choice. You make your own choice. :-) Bless youBob Lee All answers are made on list so other persons may comment and make their own observations on postings. Their input is important because they may know things the rest of us don`t, or have an important view point of interest to all of us. -- oozing on the muggy shore of the gulf coast l...@fbtc.net -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. I have used it on my african grey parrot that had hundreds of dollars of tests at three vets till one remarked, well, she just might die anyway.:( I treated her myself and she has been fine since, about two years now. Her only left over symptom was nagging at one area of feathers and I spray her with CS diluted and she looks so soft and healthy in her feather condition now. She is not a plucker. I have heard of others using CS in their exotic parrots. I mist her and let some go up her nares too ,some greys/parrots are prone to infections in the nares(nostrils). I will start three horses on CS in mega doses within the next two weeks for a hard to kill protozoal infection with neuro symptoms. Deb -- Debbie McDonald Dear Debbie, and all, I too use CS for my Pug dogs, and just yesterday have given some to a Lady Gouldian Finch hen, who may have either a lung infection, or lung sac mites. Already I see improvement! I hope to save her, as she is not only valuable and very beautiful, I just plain like her! I just bought her a new hubby at the big twice a year Birdmart in LA yesterday, he is also gorgeous! I spoke to a breeder there who also uses CS for all his animals! I`ll keep you posted on the Lady`s progress... Marsha PS, The Lady`s babies, four of them, have been adopted by a pair of Parson`s Finches, since she was too ill to feed them. This is a very rare and amazing occurance! -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. Now that hepatitis has now been classified as a baby boomers disease there is a good link for those who do not already know of it. http://www.jovo.com.hk/ bjs -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. Livestock
Does anyone have any information on using CS on livestock? Specifically, llamas, goats, and chickens. I much rather use something other than antibiotics and medicated feeds. -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
