CS>OT: The Constitution? What's that?

2001-07-03 Thread Solar
Hello list,

While this post is off-topic, it does seem to fall in somewhere with
some of the discussions that do come up. Since Mike is a libertarian,
I'm sure he can appreciate this as well.

Here is a short little story by an online rag written in Brittain.
While they mainly write about Information Technology, they do cover
some of the issues surrounding the subject as well, such as privacy
issues. Their writers do an excellent job.

Basically the story deals with police in Florida using cameras, along
with face-recognition software, to scan the public at large. While
this gives your constitutional rights a good stamping into the mud,
they do this, of course, in the name of safety. Whether you are aware
of it or not, at last year's Super Bowl, cameras were used, along with
face-recognition software, to capture a photo of every last person who
attended. Of course, this was all done to "prevent terrorist attacks",
and the FBI gives their standard disclaimer that "none of the photos
were saved for future reference". Yeah, right. Oh, and guess what?
Some of this software is advanced enough to find you in a crowd, even
if you are wearing a disguise that is good enough to fool your own
mother.

Could someone please tell me just when we forgot the fact that the
rights guaranteed under the constitution are rights given by a power
higher than that of mere men? At just what point in our modern-day
complacency did we start thinking that these rights were actually
granted by the government?

There are interesting articles from the address provided below.
I have just read a couple, but there are others that look good also.

Thanks "Bitbucket13" for providing this address.

This institute must be subsidized somehow to make the research
and I wonder if they would not be able to provide us with some
answers that we are all looking for instead of doing our own research...

The CS experts may have some questions for them.

In one of the articles, it is estimated that the price of silver will
almost triple by the year 2002... because of the demand.
I know that this is only an estimate, but for people that have money, wouldn't
it be a good time to buy some silver ?

I see no way that the use of 3,000 oz of silver by one segment of industry
would have any effect
on price at all. That is about $15,000 worth, less than 1% of what is traded
every day. And
the photograpy industry uses thousands of times this much silver.

What with beginning to use silver instead of chlorine for pools, and

It is a commercial product, about $50 a bottle (actually 2 bottles, one
of chelation and one of minerals to replace what the chelation removes
that you want to keep). A later email gave links to the sites.

Re: CS>Angyia/ Heavy metals/Chelation

2001-07-03 Thread Leo Regehr
Here is a recepe I use, with modifications. I use flax oil instead of
olive oil. And I add glutathione, boron, etc etc.

 Cilantro Pesto

 1 clove of garlic
1/2 cupof almonds, cashews, or other nuts
1 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
 2 tablespoons lemon juice
 6 tablespoons olive oil

Put the cilantro and olive oil in blender and process until the cilantro

is chopped. Add the rest of the ingredients and process to a lumpy past.

Keep in the fridge.

You may need to add a touch of hot water and scrape the sides of the
blender.

You can change the consistency by altering the amount of olive oil and
lemon juice, but keep the 3:1 ratio of oil to juice. (If freezes
well, so you can make several batches at once.)

In light of the ever-worsening quality of our water and soil and
the widespread use of metals in everyday items like deodorant and cans,

Iwould seriously suspect that all of us have some toxic metals in our
body. And unless they are carried out by a chelating agent, things like
lead, aluminum and mercury remain in the body forever. Besides
associated with arthritic condition, depression, muscle pain and
weakness, memory loss and deterioration, and maybe even Alzheimer's
disease.

Summer's here and cilantro is readily available across the
country. It is very popular herb in Mexican cooking, and due to their
large Mexican populations is easy to find anywhere from Texas to
California. In other areas, you may need to visit an Oriental market or
specialty supermarket, (Remember, it's also called Chinese
parsley.)

I would highly recommend that you take advantage of this "poor
man's chelation treatment". I'm in the process of doing it now my shelf
and intend to do so at least once or twice a year from now on. All it
takes is adding fresh cilantro to your everyday foods or eating a
couple teaspoons of cilantro pesto a day for two or three weeks; either
will give the dose Dr. Omura used in his research. Judging by the price
around here, that means you'd be spending less than a dollar for two
weeks of cleansing!

Of course, if you really don't like cilantro, you can
always spend a thousands times that much on a series of intravenous
chelation treatments.

Re: CS>Gatorade- CS test.

2001-07-03 Thread kukurippa _

Hi I'm new to the list. My name is Eleanor and I live in Quebec. I'm only
now just learning about CS, in fact I found this list through another list
that is for cats (I feed mine raw).

I'm interested in learning more about CS. I'd also like to know if there is
anyone on the list who lives in my area that is making their own CS and
would be willing to sell some at a reasonable cost. I'm thinking of using
CS in preparing my cat's food (which calls for some water) and I want to use
some for myself (many health problems).

I'll try to dig up the information on the Gatorade-CS test in the archive.
I'm curious to know what it's all about.

Looking forward to gaining information.

Sincerely,

Eleanor

CS>RE: Ant Remedy

2001-07-03 Thread kukurippa _

Hi,

Just pulled the following recipe from the archive for getting rid of ants.
Question: what type of yeast are we talking about here? Brewer's
nutritional type of yeast? Or active yeast that you use for baking?

Thanks,

Eleanor

Fool proof non-toxic recipe for
ants.

1/3 cup molases
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbs yeast
mix into a paste

Spread a small amount on plastic or
paper and place
out
of the way, but where ants can get to
it.

The sugar and molases are irresistable
to ants and
act as food for the yeast. Gives them
such a bad
case of gas that they literally explode. Really. Give it a week or two
and you
won't see them again.

Have you read the posts regarding using a CS MSM mixture with oxygen in a
nebulizer? It is in the list archives.

Re: CS>RE: Ant Remedy

2001-07-03 Thread Dean T. Miller
Don't use sugar -- use Aspartame. Aspartame was invented to be an ant
poison. (but I wouldn't say it's exactly non-toxic)
