## Yes. These are just symptoms - not different things. It is vital to
understand this to EVER get normal. Different things are a leg chopped

Wilma no sick person can stand that kind of unnatural assault on their body!
Stop all of those things. Yes, especially the natural ones. They are
usually fakes if commercial products. Coral calcium or those sort of
things are not assimilable by well humans much less sick ones,
iatrogenically damaged.
Start on a simple NATURAL primitive diet. Especially stop eating all
those health breads! They are lies. They are made from a Bakers Base
which contains horrific things and so-called wholemal bread is nothing like
Wholemeal. You will have to get on to a source of Spelt flour (

Make flat bread ( unleavened ) The exercise will do you good -
STRICTLY follow the Food Combining rules. STRICTLY.

You have already fallen for the old biblical surgical trick - if

Your days of fast and fancy eating are thus long over.
If it is pre-prepared - in a box - in a can - new and improved - white in

While the chances of you following this recommendation are virtually nil,
there is a small chance that you will grasp the unpleasant truth and really

CSWelcome and some pointers...

2005-02-06 Thread M. G. Devour
Hi gang,

I've been busy for a couple of weeks and haven't contributed much. I'd
like to answer a few remarks I've seen, from John among others, that
touch on just what is or is not welcome on the Silver List...

*** Any health related question is welcome. You don't have to worry if
it might not have anything directly to do with CS.

*** Any relevant answers to such questions are also welcome, whether or
not they have anything to do with colloidal silver.

*** Non-CS related topics should end or migrate elsewhere once the
basics are covered and important resources given -- so everybody's
curiosity is satisfied and people can continue research on their own.

*** Occasional alerts relating to laws, regulations, or other politcal
or economic issues having direct impact on alternative health on a
broad scale, or CS in particular, are okay, too.

*** Limited discussions of such items, like the current threads on
Codex, are okay as long as we steer clear of partisan politics or items
of political philosophy that are most likely to cause arguments.

*** I'm pleased to see a modest level of chit-chat, humor, sharing of
experiences, or other things of interest that contribute to keeping the
list a welcoming, sociable place.

When the list is as quiet as it is right now, I'm not going to crack
the whip too much to keep things strictly on topic. It can freewheel,
as long as the discussion is helpful and serves the needs of the
members. As we get busier again, then I hope all of you will tighten up
more on your own participation to avoid overwhelming people.

As always, blatant commercialism, self-promotion, and marketing
activity is verboten unless approved in advance by me. If you think
something you'd like to say risks being interpreted that way, drop me a
line and ask.

We also steer clear of is anything beyond passing, minor references to
religion, spirituality, esotericism, and other nebulous subjects that
either offend or frighten those not similarly enthused about them. No,
you don't have to hide your faith/philosophy/beliefs totally, but
refrain from overt evangelism or comments likely to devolve into
arguments. An occasional God Bless or a bible reference in your
signature file are just fine!!

I hope that helps. You're a great crew. Many fine people have been and
are involved in this community. I value you as my friends.

Be well,

CSCancer therapies...

2005-02-06 Thread M. G. Devour
Greetings,

I've been working very hard the last week exploring alternative cancer
therapies in greater depth. A good friend is diagnosed with colon
cancer, with possible liver involvement. He'll get word back on the
liver pathology tomorrow, so we'll know more soon.

From what I see, he's a good candidate for the alternatives. He's still
quite strong and healthy, his wife is open to these ideas and has
health-care experience, and they have friends and family enough to
provide support if they need it.

I've found good, solid information on the Gerson therapy. Anybody have
any stories to tell about it, good or bad?

I haven't found anything good enough on the Budwig diet and therapy
that I'd be willing to give to somebody else. Any pointers? Web sites,
books? Brooks has recommended Budwig in the past. I'll have to refer
back to some of his posts to see what resources were suggested.
Anything else?

If they decide to add or substitute some alternative therapies, I'll be
continuing this research for a while. Any other comments are welcome --
direct experiences, particularly. I'd like to provide some first hand
testimonials from folks I know, apart from the ones in books and
elsewhere.

Peace, all.

CSCodex -- 1000 mg Vit.C into STORE!?

2005-02-06 Thread Douglas Haack
BROOKS B's suggestion of planting Rooted Rosa Rugosa is a timely and practical
suggestion.

My question is -- how does one put -- bottles of 1000 mg Vitamin C into store??
-- I ask the followint questions -- meant to be a short er term option.
Vitamin C tablets and Powder obviously has a LIMITED SHELF LIFE.

What might be the best way TO EXTEND THIS SHELF LIFE? Can one extend the SHELF
LIFE?

1)Does one use VACUUM packing?
2)Use a CANNING PROCESS?
3What is the practical Shelf Life of say, Vitamin C?

These question are meant to be food for thought!!! Listers -- put on your
thinking caps!!

The questions apply to other vitamins etc etc.

ïïï HERE IS THE REAL QUESTION: Why should the average vitamin manufacturer
object to CODEX??

They will simply comply en masse without a murmur -- formulating the
smaller/less milligram pill/s as the new law will demand.

AND . . . they'll all make lots more money!! You watch, they 'll ALL make more
money for putting LESS into the formulations!!

So let's not kid ourselves -- when did you see a product get really cheaper
when reformulated??

So start preparing yourself.

The poorer people of Europe before and during the two world wars used large
earthen jars to marinate vegetables -- cabbage, cucumbers etc in their cellars.
This got them thru the long winters without scurvy etc.

My German mother and her older sister related these practices to me. I must add
my mother actually hated marinated cabbage, having been forced to eat this type
of fare -- growing up before WWII and being forced to continue marinating and
eating the results during the war in Germany.

I can remember after emmigrating to Australia in 1949 at the age of 5, my
family were placed on a lare acreage sheep farm as their first employment. I
can still see the farm manager wheel in half a sheep and hang it up in a large
wire meat safe -- for our consumtion.

We had never seen so much meat -- especially so much at our personal disposal.
With all the other produce, we though we were in heaven!!

CSwilma and question to himagain

2005-02-06 Thread Betsy Coffey
I was just wondering if Wilma has been tested for
mycoplasma infections like lyme etc. which can cause
some of her bowel troubles. Also chronic systemic
candidias can be a problem esp if she has been on alot
of antibioitcs. If this is the case, I think that
supplements are helpful rather than harmful but it is
important to get them in a form that she can
assimilate.
A question for himagain- I agree that many supplements
are stressful to the body but I do think it is hard to
get what you need in food the way that it is
processed-even good food is lacking due to soil
depletion etc.
The question that I have regards the collodial
minerals that the tape you suggested recommends. I
wanted to know if you take this mineral supplement and
have you had luck with it? I keep hearing how
collodial minerals have heavy metals in them.

Hi Betsy,
Supplements are a minefield. I just received a rave review from someone
here in Oz about a miracle supplement. It even admits on the label that
it contains Aspartame- not even one of the 90-odd cover-names for it.
Like all those miracle diet pills that really, really work: All you do is
take 3 per day at $5 each and viola! (sic) Oh, and by the way
you must follow a calorie-controlled diet and exercise plan in conjunction
with the program or it won't work.. :-)

Sure I take supplements every day four times. They are called
Sprouts. Cost about 20 cents per kilo and are made following
the Original Maker's methods ( Often called God or gods). Cheapest most
effective supplements in the world. Caveat: You must use real
unadulterated water in sprouting the seeds and of course, they must be
heritage seeds not Monsantomonsters.

The only other thing that is super-effective for people with the multiple
symptoms called allergies, MS, Cystic Fibrosis, Lyme, CFS, Cancer etc., is
to learn to defecate and ( females) urinate primitive style, squatting,
not sitting.
People with modern-diet-destroyed digestive systems can get relief
immediately.

A simple trick is to make a sturdy box about half the height of the toilet
bowl, add a hand-rail to the wall for comfort ( sick people fear getting
dizzy and falling down a lot, so they do ) in order to be able to squat
like those Africans you see in the National Geographic, who never sit down
Western style. ( Notice how hard it is to teach/force babies to do it
properly? Left alone they will do it naturally.)

But no recovery is ever really possible without the right food. Perhaps
even more importantly - stopping eating the toxic junk we replaced food
with in the last 100 years.

Ever noticed how babies try and refuse ALL the junk forced down their
little throats? Children who don't want to eat it ALL up?
Simply going back to the amounts of food that were normally eaten 100 years
ago by people who REALLY walked and worked can work miracles. ( About 25%
to 33% of what you eat now)

So it is all easy to fix, IF you stay away from the toxic stuff and
Already Dying Doctors

Cheers,
Himagain

CSRequested: advice on water from chemistry-minded folks

2005-02-06 Thread Nenah Sylver
Dear People,
I have a challenge with my water system and would like your input, especially
from the chemistry-minded folk of this list.

In November I moved my home and office 6 miles to an even more remote country
location. The house's water supply is fed by a well. The water's pH tests at
around 6.2, much too acidic to drink (it should be at least a neutral 7.0).

As with my prior location, the water purification setup at my new locale
consists of two countertop water treatment units. The first is a simple filter
with coconut shell, to remove the particulate matter -- and save wear and tear
on the second water unit. The second water unit is a Singer Ionizer Plus, which
electrolizes the water and sends the acid and alkaline fluids to separate
chambers. You drink the alkaline water and use the acidic water externally (the
skin is acidic and really benefits from the acid water). At my new location, the
electrolyzed water initially tested from about 7.2 to 8.6, depending on the low
or high settings of the Singer electrolysis system. The alkaline water tasted
sweet and felt smooth.

However, then we needed to replace the cartridge in Unit #1. The company that
makes the first unit redesigned the cartridge and now we're having water
problems. The mouth on both ends of the cartridge is much narrower than before.
Presumably, this has lowered the pressure of the water flowing into the Singer.
So now, even with the Singer unit on the highest setting, the water's pH doesn't
get much higher than 6.6.

The manufacturer of Unit #1 (the one that changed the cartridge) doesn't want to
talk to us because we're not a large account. But someone at the Singer
dealership did talk to us. We were told that well water is tricky to test for
pH, because often there's carbonic acid (dissolved carbon dioxide) in the water.
The remedy, the company rep continued, is to let the water sit overnight so the
carbon dioxide can dissipate -- and THEN test the water the next morning.

So I followed their advice. I electrolyzed the water at the second setting and
the highest setting, let the two containers of water sit overnight, and then
retested the pH the next morning. There was no difference between the night
before and the next morning. The highest pH was still about 6.6.

Here are the mysteries:

1) Why would changing the water pressure (narrowing the mouth of the cartridge
on Machine #1) create a difference in pH?

2) Why didn't the carbon dioxide escape from the open water?

3) If the carbon dioxide didn't escape from the open water, it's possible that
the acidic readings weren't the result of carbonic acid. If not, what was
creating the acid?

All this leads to yet another issue:

Obviously, we're going to filter our water to get rid of sediment and chemicals.
But drinking acidic water is out of the question. What can we put into the water
to raise the pH?

I experimented with putting 50% concentrated pharmaceutical grade potassium
hydroxide into the acidic water. I had to use at least four drops to get the
water to an acceptably alkaline level (it only gets to about 7.2)..But now there
is an unpleasant taste to the water.

I really liked using the Singer when the results were working. Alkaline water is
wonderfully sweet and has great energy. But any water electrolysis unit produces
results that are only as good as the water that feeds it.

My only other option is to make distilled water, and add minerals to it for
drinking. Technically, distilled water has a pH of 7.0 because it doesn't
contain minerals. However, in reality this rarely is the case, because as soon
as distilled water is exposed to the air it violently reacts with carbon dioxide
and becomes acidic. For instance, I once tested the pH of distilled water that
was freshly made with a friend's distiller, and the pH was only 6.2.

Nevertheless, I ordered a distiller and expect it next week. I don't know what
pH this unit will create. Hopefully, the pH will be closer to 7.0 than not. Even
if the pH is 6.8, it's exponentially *much* better than even 6.6 -- and I'll be
able to add *less* potassium hydroxide to get it to the pH I want.

However, I don't know the ramifications of drinking potassium hydroxide on a

I'd like to provide some first hand
testimonials from folks I know, apart from the ones in books and
 elsewhere.

Mike,

When working intensively with EC-AFNOR (French medical standard) essential
oils, generally one is clear of the 'mass' that causes problems within a
month. The principals are cleansing and frequency. It works. There are
tried and true recipes that one can do at home or head off to a clinic for
MD ND etc professional guidance - kinda depends on budget considerations.
Same time line of 30-40 days for prostate and breast mass challenges.

These are not touted as cancer cures which puts one in the laser beam of the
regulatory bodies. The foundation is rapid cleansing, and somehow the goo
seems to go away. Supplemental therapies such as chiro, naturo, massage,
classic Chinese acupuncture and BodyTalk with it's silent no talk approach
to releasing emotional ties are beneficial also.

If you want to know more please contact me off line.

Side effects of healing, naturally, shouldn't be mistaken for getting

One must be patient.( pardon the pun ) regarding time for healing. It
does take much longer, but then again longer then what? Suffering for
days, sometimes weeks on end from Allopathic treatment; A very small

That is great to know, perhaps Wilma can use her? She is approx 10 hours

Dave, I dont think it is a misconception but maybe I
didnt understand what you meant. Lyme is a spirocete
bacteria like you said. With lyme disease, you can
also harbor other infections bacterial or otherwise.
YOu can also have babesia which is a parasite. There
are various bacterial infections that go undiagnosed

It can be bacterial or fungal in nature. You are right

Lyme is caused by a spirochete which is a spiral shaped bacteria.

Lyme is the great imitator. It could be that Lyme could cover all of

Re: CSRequested: advice on water from chemistry-minded folks

2005-02-06 Thread Tony Moody
Hi Nenah,
May you be very happy in your new home.

Have you tried connecting well water straight into the Ionizer? To test
whether the filter is the culprit.

I can think of two potential problems.
1/ Something has got into the ionizer causing a problem, possibly
blocking a port or covering an electrode or sensor.
2/ The new filter is functionally different so that the water leaving the
filter is now strongly buffered by passing through the filter.

I can only imagine that slowing the water flow would cause the
electrolysis process to be 'better' or 'stronger'

water's pH tests at around 6.2, much too acidic to drink (it should be
 at least a neutral 7.0).

As with my prior location, the water purification setup at my new
locale consists of two countertop water treatment units. The first is
a simple filter with coconut shell, to remove the particulate matter
-- and save wear and tear on the second water unit. The second water
unit is a Singer Ionizer Plus, which electrolizes the water and sends
the acid and alkaline fluids to separate chambers. You drink the
alkaline water and use the acidic water externally (the skin is acidic
and really benefits from the acid water). At my new location, the
electrolyzed water initially tested from about 7.2 to 8.6, depending
on the low or high settings of the Singer electrolysis system. The
alkaline water tasted sweet and felt smooth.

However, then we needed to replace the cartridge in Unit #1. The
company that makes the first unit redesigned the cartridge and now
we're having water problems. The mouth on both ends of the cartridge
is much narrower than before. Presumably, this has lowered the
pressure of the water flowing into the Singer. So now, even with the
Singer unit on the highest setting, the water's pH doesn't get much
 higher than 6.6.

The manufacturer of Unit #1 (the one that changed the cartridge)
doesn't want to talk to us because we're not a large account. But
someone at the Singer dealership did talk to us. We were told that
well water is tricky to test for pH, because often there's carbonic
acid (dissolved carbon dioxide) in the water. The remedy, the company
rep continued, is to let the water sit overnight so the carbon dioxide
can dissipate -- and THEN test the water the next morning.

So I followed their advice. I electrolyzed the water at the second
setting and the highest setting, let the two containers of water sit
overnight, and then retested the pH the next morning. There was no
difference between the night before and the next morning. The highest
 pH was still about 6.6.

 Here are the mysteries:

 1) Why would changing the water pressure (narrowing the mouth of the
cartridge on Machine #1) create a difference in pH?

 2) Why didn't the carbon dioxide escape from the open water?

 3) If the carbon dioxide didn't escape from the open water, it's
possible that the acidic readings weren't the result of carbonic acid.
If not, what was creating the acid?

All this leads to yet another issue:

Obviously, we're going to filter our water to get rid of sediment and
chemicals. But drinking acidic water is out of the question. What can
we put into the water to raise the pH?

I experimented with putting 50% concentrated pharmaceutical grade
potassium hydroxide into the acidic water. I had to use at least four
drops to get the water to an acceptably alkaline level (it only gets
to about 7.2)..But now there is an unpleasant taste to the water.

I really liked using the Singer when the results were working.
Alkaline water is wonderfully sweet and has great energy. But any
water electrolysis unit produces results that are only as good as the
 water that feeds it.

My only other option is to make distilled water, and add minerals to
it for drinking. Technically, distilled water has a pH of 7.0 because
it doesn't contain minerals. However, in reality this rarely is the
case, because as soon as distilled water is exposed to the air it
violently reacts with carbon dioxide and becomes acidic. For instance,
I once tested the pH of distilled water that was freshly made with a
friend's distiller, and the pH was only 6.2.

Nevertheless, I ordered a distiller and expect it next week. I don't
know what pH this unit will create. Hopefully, the pH will be closer
to 7.0 than not. Even if the pH is 6.8, it's exponentially *much*
better than even 6.6 -- and I'll be able to add *less* potassium
hydroxide to get it to the pH I want.

However, I don't know the ramifications of drinking potassium
hydroxide on a regular basis. I figure that if the water tastes bad,
 that's an

You know, it just might be the Dr. Clark's synchrometer might diagnose Lyme
disease easily. All one would have to have is a culture of the Borelia and
then it could be diagnosed by a person who is able to use the equipment
competently

Dave, I dont think it is a misconception but maybe I
didnt understand what you meant. Lyme is a spirocete
bacteria like you said. With lyme disease, you can
also harbor other infections bacterial or otherwise.
YOu can also have babesia which is a parasite. There
are various bacterial infections that go undiagnosed
as actual infections. Fibromyalgia is a good example.
It can be bacterial or fungal in nature. You are right
that lyme is a great imitator of illness. My hope is
that someday, there will be more definitive tests for
it.
Mike here is a web site that I just posted on another
forum. I dont know anything about this product but
will post it anyway.
