CSCS and propolis

2007-09-16 Thread mukta1

Hi group,

I put several drops of propolis tincture in the EIS for
mouth swishing.

Do you think propolis strengthens or deteriorates the EIS or
is neutral to it ?

RE: CSPotassium / Iodine

2007-09-16 Thread Tony Moody
Hi Ruth,

Also had the Dr. check my carotid arteries in my
neck since I had an ondamed machine test recently which indicated that
 there may be trouble there.

Carotid ( and sinus and teeth ) problems.
Stroke down the sides of your neck from immediately below the ear down onto
shoulder/
collar bone area. I do both sides simultaneously; use the edge of hands, little
fingers pointing
back, palms down, but you could do what is easy for youself. Sweep gently down
several
times.

If i encounter sore places then I may go there and circular massage for a
minute until it feels
softer and less congested. Applying warm, damp heat could also be beneficial.

For sinus and tooth problems I start next to nose and press in 'dots' along the
top of the tooth
root ie under the cheekbone using a fingertip or several finger tips. And then
scoop down the
neck.

Hah, I knew it.!! There are advantages to getting old. You don't have to have
the operation.
!!! Ruth, It is wonderful that you may actually outlive some of them because
your intelligence
is engaged. :-)

Be well,
Tony Moody

Hi, Tad, Thanks for the message re Thyroid. I am concerned about my
thyroid levels which are within normal levels according to the Dr.,
but some areas, just barely. Have since had the T4 test which also
came back normal. Also had the Dr. check my carotid arteries in my
neck since I had an ondamed machine test recently which indicated that
there may be trouble there. Dr. just says there is nothing he can do
unless unmistakable physical symptoms arise. Why in the world do we
always have to wait until we are in dire trouble before attempting to
get help? I am taking 10 different digestive tract medsfor a week
now. Since the Ondamed treatment, I have had higher energy levels, but
the digestive tract is not responding so far. Have an appointment on
Monday to see a different surgeon about possible colon surgery. He is
closer to home and was in favor of the surgery back in January when he
did some testing for me. I will not make a decision on the spot
however. The other surgeon is farther away and does not want to do the
surgery because he says I am too old. More another time. Ruth

Ruth- your symptoms are on a list of symptoms of Hashimoto's
  autoimmune disease of the Thyroid-

 http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/hashimotos-disease/DS00567/DSECTION=
 2

  Signs and symptoms

Hashimoto's disease does not have unique signs and symptoms. The
disease typically progresses slowly over a number of years and
causes chronic thyroid damage, leading to a drop in thyroid hormone
levels in your blood. The signs and symptoms, if any, are those of
  an underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism).

Clear EIS has the smallest particle size. There's a particle size .pdf
report of EIS made with the Silver Puppy on Ode's website at the

I guess no one knows for sure. One point- since the silver is ionic, it
will bond with other things that are put with it in solution. That may
be a negative, you can see if it still works or not.

Re: CSNon C/S - OT Vitamix/Greenstar

2007-09-16 Thread dd611
For a long time I have been thinking of getting a greenstar or a single
screw juicer. I juice every day and use a juice-lady, similar to the
older juiceman.
It washes up in about 2 min. Why does it take some people up to 10 min.
and some only 2 min. to clean the greestar?
Is the 10 min. cleaning more involved and thorough? - Just accumulating
info about the greenstar to help me make up my mind if I should buy one.

S-Max wrote:
Hanneke,
I purchased a Greenstar as well. I love my Greenstar too, but don't use it

as often as I should. So sorry to hear about the warranty problem. I do have
a suggestion which makes cleaning a snap. It takes two minutes at the most.

When I know I am going to use the juicer, I fill one side of the sink with

water and a squirt of good dish washing liquid and stop it up. After juicing
I disassemble the juicer (15 seconds), and IMMEDIATELY submerge the parts
under water so that they don't have any time for the juice pulp to dry on
any part, especially the fine metal screen. Then I use a dish washing scrub
brush that fits all the parts nicely. I scrub the parts while under water,
and rinse off. Every few times of use, I will add H2O2 to the water, to
whiten the parts that absorb carrot or beet colors. In the dish rack they go
to air dry.
VOILA! Done.

---Original Message---
From: Hanneke
I own a Greenstar, and have been using it for quite a few
years. Thus far, the best juicer I have owned. Cleaning the parts
after use takes about 5-10 minutes which I found a bit of a nuissance
until I told myself that it didn't take any longer than doing the
dishes after a meal. And a glass of fresh juice often means a complete meal.
