Re: CSREAD NOW Quick and Dirty infected painful tooth?
One between cheek and gum, one between tongue and gum to do one jaw line. What specific *Where* do you want current and ions to go? Opposite sides of that..whatever that is. It's not going to make very much voltage, so distance is a big factor. and the lower you can get it, the more will be going *through* [deep] vs jumping over the top Ode At 07:11 AM 2/24/2009 -0600, you wrote: Ode, do you mean one silver wire on the outside of the teeth, between the teeth and cheek (below the tooth line) and the aluminum foil on the other side of the mouth--same position--or the other side of the same row of teeth--between the teeth and the tongue? Re: pocketpup CS Quick and Dirty infected painful tooth?
I actually planned to make it for 10 years and have several prototypes hanging around, some with electrode sockets in the bottom and with an itty bitty cell phone vibrator motor for a stirrer made before abandoning that whole *top down* stirring concept as problematic and long term unreliable. Every Puppy PC board ever made has been machined to fit that box as a secondary idea. Sealing up the electronics [and motor] from water vapor and splashing has always been the big problem...which remote electrodes make into a moot point. And polarity reversal does do 'some' stirring if you get the timing right. [That's fairly recent ] On that note, I got to thinking that this recession made another timing, right...for simplicity of manufacture, with function, to reduce selling price at a mild appearance, convenience and capacity cost in use. ..it does the smaller batches better than bigger ones and more parts for the user to fiddle withand it's black box ordinary in appearance. But, opens up opportunities for modifications for uses other than just making EIS [CS] a user experimentation platform. It'll do just about anything you want it to, making the what the biggest problem. Everything is adjustable over a pretty wide range, but who is going to write and endlessly explain the instructions encyclopedia when there are several ways to do just about anything ?? ..not me. A sticky wicket, that. [I'm already 'fused and conned enough to keep me ... awack? ] Ode At 08:33 AM 2/24/2009 -0800, you wrote: Ode, You should have had your Pocket Puppy! Re: CSREAD NOW Quick and Dirty infected painful tooth?
Incidently: This is how the BandAid Brand silver band aid works. ..a layer of aluminum threads and a layer of silver threads woven into absorbent fabric, using body fluids as the electrolyte to generate silver ions using the battery effect. I've even seen some Chinese knock-offs of that system at the Dollar Tree stores. ...to clean and de-tarnish silver: Rub it with aluminum foil and vinegar, salt or baking soda water. [electrolyte] a process known in the electro-plating industry as reverse current cleaning OK..so, let's all wear our aluminum foil anti mind control radiation hats and a silver necklace in the shower..and rid our brains of these infectious ideas??? ..might get rid of dandruff. ode Quick and Dirty..FLASH!!! Another possible trick: Lay a length of silver wire along the gum line down low so as not to actually contact the teeth, and roll up some Aluminum foil into a wire and lay it likewise along the gum line on the other side. What this does is to *make* a battery [creating a low voltage electrical current] with silver ions headed towards the aluminum, hopefully through the infected area...[no aluminum will come off the foil] You get, both, electrification AND Silver Iontophorosisa Double Whammy on infections. If you have mercury/silver fillings and bite some foil, you ARE aware of the voltage...so...make it using the right materials and direct it to where it *should* go. Lordy lordy, i wish i had thought of that last summer when I had that 32 tooth tooth ache on a weekend from a spreading eye staph infection ! Re: CSHELP! How can I save an infected painful tooth?
Try a tiny amount of oil of clove, not the clove spike itself. Cloves seem to be rated about 5 or a little more on the hotness scale. The following is from theepicure.com web site: The medieval German herbalists used cloves as part of anti-gout mixture. Early American Eclectic physicians used cloves to treat digestive complaints, and they added it to bitter herbal medicines to make them more palatable. They were also the first to extract clove oil from the herbal buds, which they used on the gums to relieve toothache. A few drops of the oil in water will stop vomiting, and an infusion will relieve nausea. Essential oil of clove is effective against strep, staph and pneumomocci bacterias. Contemporary herbalists recommend vloves for digestive complaints and its oil for toothache. The primary chemical constituents include eugenol, caryophyllene, and tannins. Cloves are said to have a positive effect on stomach ulcers, vomiting, flatulence, and to stimulate the digestive system. It has powerful local antiseptic and mild anesthetic actions. Japanese researchers have discovered that like many spices, clove contains antioxidants. Antioxidants help prevent the cell damage that scientists believe eventually causes cancer. and: They also used it to disinfect root canals. Clove oil still is an active ingredient in several mouthwash products and a number of over-the-counter toothache pain-relief preparations. Cloves kill intestinal parasites and exhibits broad anti-microbial properties against fungi and bacteria, thus supporting its traditional use as a treatment for diarrhea, intestinal worms, and other digestive ailments. Like many culinary spices, Cloves helps relax the smooth muscle lining of the digestive tract. And finally, eating cloves is said to be aphrodisiac. Hope this helps.
