I have also used CS and lysine Zoe, and I do use iodine but not Lugols but a nascent one. I am treating mine with Lugol's , B-vitamins, Lysine and Chaparral and CS, excellent results so far. zoe

To Nenah II agree with you that acetate is not the same as pure ionic silver in destilled water, however I assume that the abstract meant AcO– . That is, an acetate-ion which consists of an acetyl group with an extra oxygen atom which gives the ion charge -1. The effective toxic concentration of silver towards bacteria and human cells is almost the same. First, the authors call silver ACETATE “ionic.” This is BS. Second, the authors equate nanoparticles of silver with ionic silver. This is also BS. Nano-ANYTHING significantly alters the properties of the substance, often causing it to behave in unpredictable and harmful ways. Either the authors are sloppy scientists, or they are deliberately trying to give Electrically Isolated Silver a bad name.
